Detoxing from the other place. Masking. Vaxxing. Not relaxing. Waiting for the cat distribution system to find me again. Elbows Up. Not playing cards.

Clean indoor air mandates, national vaccine production, robust national waste water monitoring, pandemic preparedness. These are national security issues.

I’d like clean air regulations, robust national waste water monitoring, pandemic preparedness, national vaccine production etc as a matter of national security. More science please.

In the earlier days of the pandemic my partner used ASHRAE links that you had posted to fight for better ventilation in his classroom & was successful after some fighting. That would not have happened without your advocacy. I’m pretty sure it is back to business as usual now though unfortunately.

It makes it pretty hard to trust their judgement and only encourages us to “do our own research.” I hate feeling potentially gaslit before even mentioning a concern or symptom. Add in that I mask for appointments and they don’t. Ugh.

Our doctor said the same to my 80 yr old parent. They also said not to bother with Covid vaccines either and that we should just avoid sick people if we see one at the grocery store. I’m “lucky” to have a GP, but do I really have one?

“COVID-CONSCIOUS” - Conscious is defined as “aware of and responding to one’s surroundings. Having knowledge of something.” Policy makers & public health have abandoned science. We are politically conscious too, which is why we are vilified.

Misinformation. Lies and no nuance in US MSM about our military and financial dependence, our dairy tariffs, and a trade deficit that never mentions population size among other things.

I’ve seen you there. Also Neil Young, Lyle Lovett, the Indigo Girls, Arlo Guthrie, The Killer
I always loved getting a drink in the bar before a show.

Are you just getting an MRNA in Ontario now? My last doses were Novavax but was unable to get a fall dose of anything due to 1st Cvd infection 😞. Didn’t know what to do now or if even eligible.

No bird feeders near me but this bird was feeding (on a bird) 20 feet from my office window in Toronto this week. You can see how easily things spread. Ugh.

This reality hits me often. So weird to think that listening to a later Beatles song as a kid was like listening to an early Billie Eilish song now.

Me too
but so far you’re batting 1000 as far as I can see. This election is going to do me in.

It doesn’t make me happy that I tend to agree with you on the scary/disappointing/ infuriating things. I do like that I learn, and occasionally laugh.

Just followed. Thanks. I also love Hobbitstee Wildlife Refuge on Insta. Learn so much. They have a youth program in summer. We have a red tailed hawk that uses the tree in our Toronto yard as a dining room.

My mom’s standard poodle is not a trained therapy dog but is so empathetic he knows who is stressed and will lean his weight against them calmly or sit with his paw on their knee. Not begging. Just kind.

I really feel there is a serious shift. My family Dr retired but was able to find a young Dr to take over the practice so we weren’t left without a GP. New Dr has said “most adult vaccines not needed (C19, RSV for senior, measles booster), masks don’t work, stay away from visibly sick at stores
” đŸ€Ż
comment in response to post
The last interview I saw with Dr. Juni was on CBC a few years ago after his move to Europe. He said he and his family were no longer taking any precautions. It was disappointing as I think he overplayed vaccine efficacy and minimized concern.

Yesterday my 82 year old mom asked her 30 something Dr about RSV vax & Measles. His answer was she doesn’t need any vaccines (including Covid) and to just avoid sick people at the grocery store. Also told her masks don’t work. And we are “lucky” to have a GP in Ontario. đŸ€Ź

For anyone who has been in an abusive or toxic relationship with a narcissist (home or work) and has experienced coercive control and gaslighting this has been very hard to listen to. The demand to be thankful is especially revolting.

Wondering if this is one of the 1st times they have had to consider Canada outside of sports. American exceptionalism & self-centred focus has not lead to a broad understanding of the world. They’ve learned they are the envy of the world and that the rest of us exists as a result of their altruism.
