Sending this to some friends who are State workers. These ripples are going to reach the States too!

If it makes you feel better about aging, for nearly 6 months I've apparently been gaslighting myself into believing I'm a full year older than I actually am. I made a quip at a check-up today about being 38, and my GP goes, "Uhh, you're 37..." I guess of all my flaws, vanity about my age ain't one.

On the upside, of my many flaws, vanity about my age is clearly not one of them.

AND she died frightened and in pain. If her parents never know another day of peace for the rest of their lives, it'll still be less than what they deserve.

Willing to bet MA and RI would be on board.

I knew it was a matter of time the moment you originally posted it. I'm absolutely on board.

I think they're better than him. But to be fair, I think a twelve day old deer carcass rotting on the side of the freeway is better than him. The bar is not high.

You sound like a real asshole.

A tuxedo cat will purposely put their body directly in your line of sight to block whatever you're trying to look at instead of them, then act so offended when you scoot them out of the way

@johngreensbluesky.bsky.social do other countries that rely on GDT for TB treatments and tests have any legal standing to sue the US?

Also, tulip bulbs are *technically* edible, although apparently it's not recommended if you have alternatives. Crypto is intangible gobbledygook.

Or free kindling, or papier mache pulp, or confetti!

The Last of Us actually helped me with a ton of my pandemic anxiety! I felt so powerless and afraid in real life, and it was cathartic to have an enemy to fight in a world dealing with similar confusion and fear (to a much greater degree, obviously!).

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is very cool. The protagonist is a Pictish warrior with psychosis, and how she and her culture interpreted that. The sound design simulates auditory hallucinations and the studio consulted with real people who experience psychosis. I highly recommend it for actors!

At this point I have lost the ability to feel any empathy or compassion for Trump supporters.

Sometimes silly and smutty low-stakes stories are exactly what we need! It's good to give yourself a little mental break now and then. ✨self care✨

I cancelled my KU a few months ago and use Libby exclusively now!

One of us, one of us? Not to armchair diagnose, but as a long time Hark! fan, I can attest that your work, at least, really tickles an ADHD brain in a fabulous way.

...I read 150 books last year. At least 60 of them were junk food smut from Kindle Unlimited. No regrets. 💪

That's a power move right there!

And a whole fucking lot of them own a bunch of guns. You make people with full arsenals in their homes desperate, don't be surprised when they start to do scary shit.

He started going out in public with his kids way more often after the United CEO got Luigied. Not a coincidence. And I don't doubt at all that man would use any one of his kids as a body shield without a second thought.

I just feel it in my bones, with absolute certainty, that this is EXACTLY what Donald Trump looks like naked.

Oh, I heard those children Elon hired are secretly trans foreigners. Someone should halt funding while the government demands their birth certificates and orders blood exams to check their gender or whatever. /s

They've already got the data. What they need to be issuing are warrants for their arrest.

Holy crap. Do you have a source? I need to know more. The state of our country is insanity.

Hate it when that happens!
