Men: Ugh I struggle to even finish a book anymore my attention span is so cooked
Women: It's called A Field of Fury & Roses and it's the prequel to A Palace of Thorns which I enjoyed almost as much as its sequel, A Maze of Mist & Fire. Each book is 800 pages of inter-species elven smut

And yes, I MEANT to leave it gender neutral, women and men are equally bad at this mess.
- Where's the ketchup?
- In the fridge.
- It's not there.
- It is, right here, right in front of you.
- Witchcraft, it wasn't there when I looked.😳
Me: I agree
Also women: So in this chapter gwendos lord of abs has just climbed mount orthos to save the princess and will now use his his skills in tonguebending to ravish her for days

Women: why do i even bother asking you anything.... 😡
Porn brain strong
It's not as if women are under any obligation not to use gendered putdowns. Have a good old laugh at that stuff...
Men: Let's organize on 4chan while the women are reading 800 pages of "inter-species elven smut"....
Humanity’s greatest gift truly is imagination
Cozy, paranormal mysteries by Amanda Lee
Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan
Sleeping Beauties by Stephen and Owen King
…I’ve had worse reasons for doing it 🤣
Basically, the tl;dr is that there’s this deity in the ACOTAR books known as The Cauldron. It’s an actual Cauldron, and it’s said to be the Cauldron the Mother goddess used to pour out the world when she created it.
Stick someone in, and after much pain— boom. Fae. Magic.

Thank you for your service, internet stranger - I tip my non-existent hat to you
I mean I assume it’s not cool. I kinda trailed off halfway through your skeet.

Men?
Cough.
And my little pony Fallout Equestria
As a male people look at me strange if I try and talk about the books I read, not because of the type books but as if men shouldn't be reading. Strange, but it's true, i might just be reading them wrong.
Anyone struggling with attention span and not being able to read anymore should check out

Then I realised I have finished two first drafts of childrens’ books this year.
Then I read the rest and understood what this was about.
And it took me back to my cooked attention span. 😂
Played and beat all 3 of the previous Dragon Age games, including all of the DLC, with very specific romances thank you very much.
I'm still ingesting stories lol.
I do see your point though, much of it is based in some reality. Maybe I’ll crack a Stephen King book this year and try not to complain. :)
That explains it
Men need to read more elven smut.
This is the one.

Men: You can't understand Gardens of the Moon without closely examining the Forkrul Assail. It becomes relevant in 2 million words.
