When you get more total replies though, I’d imagine the clutter can be more annoying

democrats are unable to do anything because they are a disempowered political minority. on an unrelated note, I choose to blame the fact that democrats can't do anything on twitter communists

and they actually *did* pivot back to the Walz message at a point, thankfully, I mean it was still a component at rally speeches for sure— but the “undecided voter” doesn’t actually SEE that, unless there’s a gaffe. But they never made it the headline-level detail after those first couple Walz weeks

I kept saying they needed to orient the campaign on the Midwesterner-nip Walz message, not on working w/the Old Right. if she had taken a couple more states, she’d have won the EC while losing the popular vote, preventing the Trump presidency AND finally unifying political will to end the absurd EC.

see, i think that would be a more fitting thing to say about the people who lost, not a vague contingent of voters. Democrats lose my state every cycle by more than the number of people who knew what a “Gaza” is. I warned em to take Michigan seriously and not take PA for granted, I wanted her to win

to party and potentially for my kids to be citizens, personally. and they’ve taken a lot of innocent passengers’ rights to live already. but i’m a white cis adult who wasn’t flying, i’m not personally affected by that, their attacks on kids, or by trying to round up immigrants as we speak.

And frankly, the schedule of speakers at the 2024 DNC was the only information I needed out of that fiasco. Almost every moment of that I ended up suffering just made me feel worse

The only “information” I’m gonna get by watching speeches is how she’s gonna come across to the minority who watch entire speeches by politicians. All that matters for the election are the clips that actually circulate, unless you’re just trying to predict what the *campaign* will do next

i assumed that’s who the “let’s” referred to. did anybody sabotage the dems and cost them votes besides the dems?

your ability to win a primary and your ability to win a general election are two completely different fucking things with two completely different electorates

why not? it’s funny and it shames Google. it’s not like the AI tweeted something intentionally stupid for engagement

that’s true though. there are two official “Sunshine States” for some stupid reason, and Florida’s where this movie and episode take place

I was trying to find the date of a hockey game where Martin Brodeur and Dominik Hasek both had shutouts for a 0-0 tie. To celebrate the shutouts they cut the game puck in half and each kept a piece. This is what AI had to say about the event:

in my view, the main silver lining is that those who are compromised enough to be satisfactorily “loyal” to Trump, who would be his preferred executors for every step, will be so incompetent that they might inadvertently sabotage the whole U.S. imperial axis, Israel included. worse b4 it gets better
