Still thinking about the movie The Gorge. I think what I really liked about it was that the two protagonists were very competent/ experts. I really do like watching competent fictional characters, and competent real people. It gives me hope.

Just finished The Gorge, and I liked it... but it did not need to be two hours and ten minutes long. A lot of the first half of the movie could have been trimmed. I liked the idea and the cast. Anna Taylor-Joy is always awesome. But it was needlessly slower than it should have been early on.
