It’s been 21 days since I did the previous page, I kind of forgot that they were meant to parallel each other!

I think I have the first three downloaded on my ps3, I really need to play those sometime! I think I got halfway through the first one about ten years ago. XP

I had to get this on DVD just to assure myself it was a real official thing.

This is set up on the floor of my room because I have a different board game set up on the table but I really wanted to try the new series 3 final girl stuff at 2am for some reason.

Sometimes I just like writing directors commentary, even if I'm the only one who really cares.

"What the Hart wants" is just a fun pun, the struggle between what somebody's deer boss wants and what they want. "Angels rush in" aside from being the obvious second half of this stories title, it may point to a general mindset angels in this setting have been proven to have.

Chapter 3: "Kintsugi" Because this chapter is jumping back, and alternating between bits of Arty and Dilla's story, I named it after the Japanese art of restoring pottery with precious metals. Putting together the scattered messy pieces of their lives, and I think it will be beautiful in the end.

Chapter 2: "New Normal" This is the only one that's a reference to the story itself. Dilla talked about moving on and settling into a new normal. This chapter jumps ahead to the comfortable status quo Dilla and Arty found 15 years later, and it's not... great, then we fill in context later.

Chapter 1: "Hell is other demons" This was just a paraphrase of the line "hell is other people" from "No Exit" by Jean-Paul Sartre, because the lack of institutionalized punishment in this setting in hell always fascinated me, the denizens of hell are jerks because everyone is a jerk.

I feel the same way about the fox set they did, I really want to make the owl out of it, but I really like the fox. XP

Most of their animal sets involve the total coverage in bricks. That’s a really fun one! I built it as the phoenix first and then the dragon.

A little more all in focus.

Just a few finishing touches to get the toy totally ready to play.

Yeah, not my favourite, but I go through it a lot, honestly this tooth has given me ten years worth of trouble, it will be kind of a relief to move on from it.

“We just made them illegal guys! It’s not that hard!”

Helluva boss t-shirts are the only ones I wear where people will regularly say “nice shirt” to me. (And occasionally “is that from Hazbin Hotel?” And then I get to have a fun YouTube recommendation for them.)

I don’t know if this story is going quite in the direction you think it is. X3

Though more about Dilla’s struggle between “what the heart wants” and “what the hart wants”.

Oh my god definitely just calling the next chapter “what the hart wants” because that is just perfect.

Though the lesser keys of Solomon use the more archaic term “hart” instead of deer or stag and that’s way better.

It's lavender scented

Thanks! The final look was something I changed a lot from the sketch, I was gonna have a painted on face, but I liked the blank mouth, so I lost the mouth and made the eyes just a visor. The gas was actually something I put in halfway through uploading, I thought it needed a little something extra.

I mean even as an artist this is why it takes five images for me to draw a fetish instead of one. I need to show ALL the steps, and the backstory needs to make sense to me.

Thanks! I really like the gearing up ones, I think the fourth one was actually my favourite to do. It was just gonna be a pretty flat closeup of the face details getting painted on, but for some reason I sketched that and it just turned out a lot more interesting. X3
