And he obviously can’t spell “Armistice Day”, because that’s what it was before anyway.

He’s talking about the fact that Black Actors are fine in support roles but not to be the main character and he’s right. There was no reason his character couldn’t have been developed along the lines of Rey’s. The whole point was to transition from the Skywalker era to a new era and they caved.

The Star Wars universe was literally about diversity. It’s hard to wrap your head around why having a Black actor in a lead role would be such a problem. Oh, wait, I know, people are trash.

Well, we knew Tulsi is a Putin Super Fan, so it’s not surprising..

These people can’t be shamed because they are sociopaths..they want people to suffer because they are broken inside..

Simply electing Obama is a big part of what created this backlash and support for Trump. Trump came along and gave voice to their grievances that the country should not be run by a black man. He let them crawl out of their holes and somehow we need to figure a way to rebury them.

His endgame is probably take over Gaza in order move residents like the people in Dearborn there..

There’s all kinds of rules in the Senate that can be used to call a debate for each particular rule change. Tuberville used a lot of these when he was blocking military appointments during Biden’s term. McConnell used these effectively against the Dems during Obama’s terms. Just copy what he did.

Because Dems are always afraid how the public will react. They need to say screw it and go scorched earth. That’s the only way at this point, if they don’t, they won’t have to be worried about the public because there won’t be elections anyway, at least not how we know them.

@walshfreedom.bsky.social You know that they won’t do that, because the Repubs control the House and they will not go against “Dear Leader”..you need to specify that it is the Repubs in Congress that are abdicating they’re responsibilities..
comment in response to

Yes, they did and it was amazing. They need to keep doing it, they have to educate the public. The more noise they make, the more they can’t be ignored. Letters to the administration are nice and all, but direct action is what’s needed and yesterday was a good first step.

Tuberville blocked military promotions for almost a year. McConnell when he was minority leader stopped the Dems all the time, even stealing a SC seat. Take a page from his book, slow it down as much as possible. Stop caring what people think, the Repubs don’t and they suffer no consequences.
comment in response to

Well, it’s better than nothing. They don’t have majorities, all they can do is obstruct when possible and educate the public about what’s happening to hopefully flip Congress in ‘26 and impeach his ass..if you have a better idea, state it..

A couple things. For one, three should be daily Dem briefings. Bring out the best speakers and have a press conference or even a town hall and call out what is happening, in real time. The second thing is big down the Senate with nonsense. Fight every point of order, slow down all nominations..

He could have thrown her a bone, like an ambassadorship to maybe Burkina Faso or something along those lines, I would feel bad for the citizens of Burkina Faso though..

The worst part of this whole article is that the Post is actually entertaining this “idea” like it’s legitimate. This is how you normalize the abnormal..

He should and other Dems in areas he visits should join him…take it to the people and point out the abuses that are happening in real time by this administration. Perpetual road show for the next 2-4 years..

I think at some point, we need to stop wondering how this can be and just accept that it is and move forward accordingly. A lot of “religious” people are just not redeemable and the sooner we recognize that the sooner we can start the process of marginalizing them and limiting their influence.

Of course, we had Lincoln and a Civil War to get us out of the first one and Teddy Roosevelt, FDR and a depression helped get us out from under the second…I wonder how much pain and hardship will it require to get out from this current one? And who’s our next TR? 🤔

It was a package deal, except the people who voted for him didn’t believe it…Trump needed Musk’s cash to win and stay out of jail and Musk needed to ram his agenda down our throats so, here we are..

He always gets away with everything, because the media creates an environment of no expectations for him. As long as he shows up and sounds somewhat coherent, they see him as normal when he is anything but normal. It had been this way since ‘15 and it’s abused he always gets that deference..

@maxwellfrost.bsky.social You and other Dems need to go on FOX and other outlets and say this exact thing, hell, You should go on Rogan and do it. The only way to get through to people is to pound the drum day after day until they start to see for themselves and start to listen..2 years let’s go!

Democrats in general just don’t understand power dynamics. They fight by the “rules” but the other side has zero rules, so they are always at a disadvantage. People like Crockett, AOC, Murphy understand this, but the old guard in leadership don’t and that’s why we are in this situation.

Wasn’t he yapping about NOT raising the Debt Ceiling when McCarthy ultimately got booted from the Speakership? Interesting how he changed his mind…crazy I know..

That’s definitely one of the dynamics in play, that’s why Bezos is going out of his way to “kiss the ring”..Zuckerberg too…they are making a bet that they can stay on Trump’s and ultimately Musk’s good side, but if history is any guide they will be on the chopping block as well..

Lol…O’Brian really thinks that the incoming administration is going to help them get recognized? If anything President Musk will just deploy law enforcement to break up the “strike”…FAFO O’Brian..

Ok, now do Trump…because whether meetings were kept short or whatever nonsense is in this story, the job was getting done and better than it had years….WSJ just piling on Biden and throwing up a smokescreen to cover for the incompetence and chaos that’s on the way..stooges..

Prices don’t tend to go down over time. For instance, what was the price of a loaf of bread 20 years ago? But, while prices increase, so do wages. So 20 years ago what percentage of pay was bread compared to now? There are small changes back and forth, but items tend to rise over time..

There needs to be a liberal answer to CPAC, TPUSA and Heritage Foundation. They flood the zone with misinformation and it gets picked up by legacy media and amplified. We cannot cede the information space the Right, that to me is the biggest missed opportunity.
