Worth pointing out that it doesn't have to meet all of these to be considered a fad diet, if any of them are apparent, be cautious!

I got a smartphone adaptor, finding that it is not great. I plan to get a decent camera soon. Although I think I am going to need to invest in more suitable clothing to be able to use it 😀

Looking for what is acceptable to you is a very religious mindset.

A very interesting paper. I have always thought we are more of a 'majority rules' democracy than a representative democracy, highlighted by the increasing polarisation in politics and the rise of cult-like followings. We need to change this, your proposal certainly seems like an improvement.

A good question. I think we need to start with what it is that people understand to be a democracy and what a democracy actually is. I get the feeling that these don't match.

I told you off for this before!!! As an (amateur) guitarist, I am not at all offended by air guitar, it doesn't try to discredit actual guitar playing, it is actually a salute to it. It is a terrible metaphor for homeopathy!

I went the other way around, and it was the right decision for me.

Can we really predict to that accuracy? I thought we weren't any more accurate than within a million years or so.

Go the other way, don't put them back in October, then stay on that time. Better to have more daylight in the evening than the morning.

I heard this recently, I pointed out that 'Santa Clause' is just a derivation of 'Saint Nicholas', so Santa actually means 'Saint'. I don't think it made any difference though!

Better to tax those purchasing big farms for tax avoidance, exempt those who inherited it and are passing it on.

All that will do is force out smaller farmers, big corporations will take over. They will have other ways of avoiding tax, quality will go down, they will use expensive law teams to get around regulations and standards. Already happening with purchase of farmers produce.

Is it feasible to only apply the cap on land that has been purchased, not land that has been inherited in the first place? Or if a mix of inherited and purchased land, 70% must have been inherited? This way you could protect future generations of farmers and tax the rich purchasing for tax avoidance

Give the poor a little bit from the public purse, while the rich push the costs of necessities up and take even more from the poor. They have that covered!
