Once more for the people in the back, the average value of a die is not 1/2 the die's value. The average of a D20 is not 10. It's 10.5. A D6 is 3.5. The average of 2d6 is 7, not 6. Those .5s can add up fast. If you can't understand that, fine. But don't argue with people who do understand it.
