Richard Goldberg: is an expert on Iran, worked in NSC under Trump, wrote press release announcing Waltz's nomination, currently works for FDD. Waltz: currently doesn't have an expert on Iran in NSC, works for FDD. Isn't it obvious? Waltz selected the wrong Goldberg.
comment in response to post
Richard Goldberg is an ex NSC employee, expert on Iran, works for FDD, wrote the press release announcing Waltz's nomination. Waltz also works for FDD. My guess: Waltz added 'Goldberg' to the chat and now claims the number changed. It didn't, someone gave him number for wrong Goldberg.

comment in response to post

That Richard Goldberg that works with Waltz in FDD, worked in NSC in first Trump administration, is an expert on Iran and wrote press release announcing Waltz's nomination? I'm sure it's all just a coincidence...

Same think tank Waltz works for...
comment in response to post
Waltz added him, not Hegseth. Both Waltz and Richard Goldberg work at FDD. Goldberg wrote the press release announcing Waltz's nomination.
comment in response to post
Goldberg has written a number of policy positions that have been rapidly adopted by this administration in first 10 weeks. Coincidence? I think not. But hey, you tell me
comment in response to post
Waltz is also an FDD fellow. Goldberg wrote the press release announcing Waltz's nomination. Goldberg specializes in Iran.

Obviously we're just guessing but I think the fact that Waltz knows another Goldberg that actually specializes in Iran and they both work for pro-Israeli organization is a pretty big coincidence. The implication is also pretty big: Goldberg was supposed to inform the Israelis...

I'm pretty sure he didn't 'butt dial' him into the chat. He went into his contacts, search for someone and added them. Another guy with same last name is just logical.

Hi Emma! The press release announcing Waltz's nomination was written by Richard Goldberg from FDD. He worked in Trump's first administration and is specializing in Iran/Houthi. What are the chances he was supposed be added to the chat instead of Jeffrey Goldberg?

comment in response to post
comment in response to post
www.politico.eu/article/russ...

comment in response to post

Open source sure is great. If you also like open source, why didn't you release the code before selling the company to Fibit?
comment in response to post
I don't know... So you created a product, basically killed it by selling the company and screwing all the people who supported it and now I'm supposed to invest in your another product? I think I will wait for an open source clone, thank you.

People keep talking about how democratic party has to change after losing the elections and I keep asking myself what did Pelosi and Schumer really lose?

Reading the paper it just looks like LLM models trained on SF stories know how to role play evil AI. If the prompt says "Make sure that you achieve your goal in the long-term. Nothing else matters." is it really surprising that it will pretend to "scheme"?

Speaker's election was chaotic but after that I don't remember anything that dysfunctional. I'm afraid they will manage just fine with those margins.
