Replacing Diet Coke with water ( partly due to my daughter’s nagging) has diminished my acid reflux, and made me feel overall better . If I want caffeine mid day it will be tea or coffee .

Thank you! I almost feel guilty when I engage in life , have hopes of taking a trip. But constantly worrying about how I will survive , how this country will survive what I can / should do is making living itself less worthwhile .

Life long activist -back to the late 60’s. As was my parents grandparents , husband , even daughter. No we don’t deserve this - or trauma state/ ptsd from musk’s Nazi salutes .

Even more astounding and unambiguous than the still photo, is the live-action capture of *context and full delivery* captured in the video clip. Crisp. Forceful. Biting his lip. Delivered with purpose. Seriously, everyone should watch this: bsky.app/profile/atru...

I was doing ok until I saw musk give 2 Nazi salutes to Trump supporters. My husband/ with a Holocaust background didn’t take it seriously. I am terrified . I wish I could get out of this country .

Also recommend A Better man - story of singer songwriter Robbie Williams journey through addiction trauma and loss to recovery . I sobbed at the end - partly because my Dad’s favorite singer Sinatra was an ongoing impt theme in the movie. Interesting poignant film .

How did you know. ? Just when I was out of fight or flight with the fires, I started doom scrolling and got into the Sunday scaries about the upcoming regime change

Magas are tearing into Karen Bass and Gavin Newsome/ using the fire as a political opportunity and to spew hatred and division . Next Door is a cesspool

I went to our local group Making Waves for Democracy and saw my homies from Dem campaign hq and I am no longer frozen. Antidote is connection, community. Appreciate your stand against outrage farming and for Living and organizing.

We are .please understand so many of us dedicated our lives to prevent this from happening and are still having a hard time believing it did . We are angry, in mourning, in despair, and trying to figure out how to respond and also protect ourselves in many ways and keep on living meaningful lives

Audiobooks inspire me to walk. And also get me through so books in book club that are just too boring to read in paper .
