The international community should have better means to bring war criminals to trial. Not just the politicians and the generals, but the individual soldiers who knowlingly commit crimes by following illegal orders. Now so much of this is posted, there must be evidence to try some and send a message.

Sad to hear. But important to keep communicating the science to those that will listen.

Hi - no there is no paywall - this is free to view. (You might get a pop up asking if you want to 'subscribe' but that is just being added to a list sending an email notification for any new posting - just ignore it.)
IF you ARE seeing a pay wall please can you send me a screenshot to investigate.

No, I don't think so (and nor would you if you saw the state of my house😑) as it seems much more specific.

This is a toilet that is suitable for disabled people. it has extra space, arm rests for support, a hand-pull alarm for if help is needed…and presumably because (a) fewer users need a disabled facility and (b) they take up more space; they only provide one which is open to everyone. Not ideological.

A post I've just seen at 'another place' shows Musk justifying going to Mars because life on Earth will not survive when the Sun swells (in c.5 billion years?) - true: but going to Mars would be like moving to the next street to avoid a nuclear attack.

1. Should it be a priority given the current state of the world? How does it advance knowledge, 🧪science & technology beyond unammned missions?
2. Does it support an attitude that we need not worry too much about the Earth, as we can all [sic, perhaps a small self-selecting elite?] move on soon?

Disagree.
Sure, you can objectively measure frequency spectra of surfaces reflecting under given lighting conditions. 🧪 But that is not colour, which is a perceived Gestalt. No one knows how anyone else experiences colours. (Let alone insects and birds with receptors 'tuned' to different ranges.)

When my wife was alive, she was my wife and I was her husband. That indicates a relationship, not ownership.
e.g. "Julie was his boss" does not mean he owns Julie but that his is in a boss-worker relationship with her.
p.s. my wife kept her bank count etc. in her name. Why would I have objected?
