The biggest proponents of MAGA specifically want this destruction of community. They think they can survive in these super small tribes that consist of just themselves and maybe immediate family. It’s like a rejection of how humanity has made it all these years.

I think Johnson is the only one that could be an option of these. Jeanty would be fun and interesting long term but with the gaps in the roster and how I don’t trust Grier to fill them, it could be career suicide for him and McDaniel to take him. Enjoyable read. Brand new is an interesting band for some of us that came of age in that time. It felt like each album evolved a bit in maturity along the same timeline as I did. Recent times have driven lot of separating the art from the artist lately. But not sure I could actively support them.
