Could argue that Carney will have a tough time recreating that coalition in 3-4 years. Hopefully he governs well enough and pragmatically enough to lower the temperature in the country

But yeah - we are at a moment - this moment - where with proper leadership and a national sense of purpose we can remake Canada in a better direction. I think Carney gets it. I just hope he's up to it.

But can we survive without it? Absolutely we can, as we have in past. I do accept that now is the moment to rethink the nation and, potentially, come out of this crisis stronger economically and culturally. I believe it's a possibility, but i don't think it's a given that we'll do it
