Es gibt die Möglichkeit, an Umfragen teilzunehmen. Just kam die Frage, ob das ZDF weiter nach rechts rücken sollte, das fand ich nur eine mäßig gute Idee. www.mitreden.zdf.de

The "clearly" part is bitter sarcasm.

representation feels ever more stereotypical, more sliding back to the harm of flat stickers instead of real people. Dark clouds are gathering, so I am grateful for pieces like this that hold up torches so we may find each other and link arms.

From there the jump to Jews being powerful, too powerful, and the full circle to the old hate that screams to defend against them is small. Turns out representation is only inclusion for those who don't defend themselves against attacks they clearly brought on themselves. And even that 4/

I hear the "Jews are strong enough to defend themselves" in that way. Jews have been declared too white, too western, too established, too successful to still warrant inclusion in the category of threatened minorities. And of course showcasing Israel in all its forms provides fodder for such ideas3/

When I started studying US lit, not the same obviously, but I think some parallels appear, Jewish American lit was still "hip," still a valued dimension of culture, and ironically in many ways a cornerstone of what today is critical race studies, which now teaches antisemitism along a few truths. 2/

Well put. Many people don't fully take in that antisemitism is the oldest group hate we know besides misogyny. Most never thought through what Eve Garrard calls "the pleasures of antisemitism." Most don't know what happened in Entebbe or why it matters. 1/

The loss of these two networks - the USGS Climate Adaptation Science Centers and NOAA Climate Adaptation Partnerships - would leave communities across our nation without a primary source of the climate information and services needed to understand and prepare for climate risks.
