A page from the Trump playbook. Hopefully the Welsh are more resistant to that kind of think than some in the USA.

I’m sure Vance will tell us after their chat the Pope understood about the immigration problem and was supportive of President Trump’s policies.

At the same time it’s almost impossible to organize freight from Europe to China. Chinese importers are switching away from the USA.

I’m so happy he finally got it done as I can’t imagine what he’d have to go through if he had lost the playoff.

Of course. He and his buddies had bought low and now it’s time for a pause so the market jumps back up. Gain 5% plus in a day … easy money for insider traders!

As a student in London in the early 1990s, I will always remember late nights at Ronnie Scott’s jazz club sitting at a small table cradling a beer or two listening to Roy and his band. It was an expensive night out but a group of us would save up for his visits and get to enjoy him live. RIP Roy.

Maybe Elon pushes Boeing to make the new AirForce one cheaper but with more gold toilets resulting in it being too heavy to avoid the oncoming aircraft leading to disaster 😬

So Trump now wants Ukraine’s mineral resources … it seems Elon is getting desperate for battery raw materials and he knows China will cut him off. I guess that leaves Canada, Greenland and Ukraine. What do you think will be the endpoint of the Ukraine invasion?

Maybe when their healthcare/Medicaid and Social Security get taken away?

401k’s for people in corporate jobs where companies no longer offer pensions. 20yr of contributions plus company match to a 401k with compound growth of 8% (5X increase in value) easily gets someone there if they saved 10% of salary for retirement. That million will get chewed up in retirement.

It’s a way to get it at least half owner by one of the techbros so they can get it at a lower price and control the output.

Coward! But if he wasn’t, he’d never have been chosen by Trump for his position.

If NfL wanted to rig things they would have setup a Detroit vs Buffalo superbowl. That’s not happening.

Now I will need a new place to stay up to date with kid slang and to find new quick dinner recipes. It’s going to push me to use Instagram which I’d prefer to avoid due to it being owned by Toxic Masculinity Zuckerberg.

Just like Elon’s $2 trillion savings goals … they were just aspirational and don’t hold them to it. I’m sure in the business world they would be forgiving if an employee didn’t follow through on an objective and then just said it was aspirational so not to hold then too it!

This is sad for any country. Yet another case for term limits. There is just minimal turnover for a majority of members and therefore no incentive to be responsive to what their electorate wants/needs vs towing the part line and enriching themselves and their families.

BBC Micro model B in 1981. I used it to play games (rocket raid, Elite, pac man, football manager) and learned to code in BBC Basic. I remember buying magazines with pages of code you typed in to get game of the month! Happy memories.
