Idiocracy was a documentary

"business acumen" the producers of "The Apprentice" should be ostracized from society

wearing sunglasses inside and following an event where he at times had a hard time speaking coherently, Elon Musk walks off the CPAC stage waving around a chain saw. this is the guy currently running our government. Congrats, America!

I don’t understand why we’re supposed to think that it’s funny or even acceptable for a man who can launch nukes at a whim to “joke” about being an absolute ruler What the fuck are we doing here?

“I am a king and my will is law” isn’t a clever distraction from what he’s doing, it’s the central underlying justification for everything he’s doing.

Wait, what happened in the 1990s that Russia might want to undo? Sorry, I received my history education at Trump university.

Look, there's a very straightforward, old-fashioned way of dealing with this problem

I hope America is as lucky as the delta jet - everyone survives but the right wing explodes

This also really bugs me. Some of these proud non-voters act like we should be THANKING them for their noble moral stance to light the planet on fire.

The other thing people seem not to understand is LLMs hallucinations aren't the only issue. They don't have objective knowledge, they're predicting text based on their training data. And their training data (the internet) is rapidly degrading due to LLM generated content displacing quality research.

It's annoying how clearly this is going to play out. They gut the FAA. Therefore, the FAA can't do its job well because it was gutted. Therefore, they say "The FAA sucks, we have to privatize it." which is what Project 2025 wants to do. They're manufacturing the crises for their end goal.

I can promise you AI is a grift. It's not to say someday we won't figure out how to make artificial intelligence, but LLMs are basically just blockchain 2.0. With blockchain most serious companies saw how useless the technology was and didn't bother. But with AI they couldn't due to uncertainty. 1/2

a drunk, a junkie, a kremlin asset, and a bunch of thieves and sex criminals crowd into a bar — bartender says, what is this, a cabinet meeting?

One enduring problem with the American electorate is how millions of people convinced themselves the government plays no role in their economic situation except to tax and to hinder them while giving money to undeserving people.

I am going to be so pissed if--after everything--I do, in fact, die of dysentery.
