>poll British gay people >ask them if they like trans people >get results >lesbians 84% positive >trans people 80% positive >lesbians like trans people more than trans people like trans people 😂

Some of y'all need to realize that people can simultaneously be marginalized and be absolute pieces of shit. I'm disabled, I once came into the social circle of a disabled man who sexually assaulted people & was able to feign plausible deniability because of it.

Thousands of people rallied in central London in support of trans rights, after a landmark court ruling on the definition of a "woman"

the UK must be liberated from it’s elder population whose only hobby is getting radicalized in far right forums

1/🧵 I'm tweeting some obvious legal implications of the Scottish Ministers case to help develop ideas for articles. This is a quick thread based on my initial reading, so take it as preliminary. First, the Gender Representation on Public Boards (Scotland) Act 2018 no longer applies to trans people.

You know, for a species that evolved through community and mutual support, it shocks me how many people need to be taught basic empathy and common decency.

We are studying today's judgement by the UK Supreme Court. Nothing they rule will change our solidarity with the trans+ community and with everyone who seeks to live their lives under control of their own bodies, and free from poverty, ignorance or conformity.

We're working with Trans+ journalists on a rapid response explainer to today's significant Supreme Court ruling, which said the definition of a woman is based on 'biological sex' Make sure you're signed up for our newsletter to get our nuanced LGBTQIA+ perspective 👇 www.wearequeeraf.com/subscribe/

i am reading the ruling now and the tldr version of it is our cissexist society didn't super consider us when writing its laws and so the obvious interpretation is our exclusion and the one law that does exist specifically for us was written so badly it might not as well have been written at all.

Still astonished that companies rely on OSS without supporting it financially. OSS is a dependency, which means it's also a liability – if a maintainer burns out or walks away, you're left with a rotting piece of code in your stack. It might even put your business at risk.

This man’s transphobia wasn’t feminism and his misogyny isn’t something to celebrate.

When one of the core beliefs of Gender Critical transphobia is used word for word and beat for beat to further Trump’s racism… …it’s not just the mask slipping. There is no mask left: www.whitehouse.gov/presidential...
