Just that Bradford used to be the only other senior football team in the UK that played in claret and amber.

Did he come from Bradford?

You, may or may not = part of Scotland but in your anonymity you almost certainly do = Botland. You're well entitled to an opinion but not entitled to speak for Scotland without living here or having some credible experience of it.

Who's "we" and what lived experience of Scotland Scottish politics do "we" have?
comment in response to post
Ah well, you weren't too far out with the Irish result.

Not a clever remark to make at all, whatever the context, but it's a jump from "don't care if" to "want".

Can you quote any examples or is this just a Trumpism?

Nothing like stating the obvious, Dick 😇

Driveling was something of a strong point for him at the Box.

The remains stand atop their hillock looking much greyer and colder nowadays.

Must be the entrance to Edinburgh's underworld.

I know what they are and I enjoy them regularly, but I've got no idea why they're called olives.

SNP, Labour friendly? Why might anyone think that? Going by their routine in Scotland Labour pretty much automatically oppose anything put forward by the SNP. Unless they change their approach on a Scottish referendum.
comment in response to post
Seems a bit optimistic however for them to expect the work to be completed by the Summer of 2025. Presumably that's a typo.

You get around Glasgow on your photographic ventures.

Looks very like the weir on the White Cart in Linn Park at Netherlee. Nice route for a run.

To the best of my knowledge it is a function of any opposition to ensure that points view other than those of the government of the day are given fair hearing. Especially where the government in question has an over-riding majority. So yes, they were acting sincerely.

#ScottishPosts(Local) My geographical knowledge might have let me down but Perth, Australia doesn't seem very local.

Nominal opposition only and at least one Scottish MP from Labour's cohort agreed with the "stunt" as you call it.

" Unless (the SNP) appoint 2 of their own members to act as tellers" Your own words, I believe. So, having done so, you then say the same 2 members opposed the SNP motion.

I'd say that it can have both meanings depending on the context each person uses it. If its used lightheartedly it's meaning would be quite different from using it in a darker vein.

"claiming"? Are you suggesting that the Act of Union was entirely voluntary?
comment in response to post
Ach well, i suppose your posts will get you some responses. So they serve a purpose.

The SNP are a broad based party. There may be some "anti-English" but the membership is certainly not mostly anti-English. Social media isn't the best place to judge.

I well remember attending Band of Hope nights in Pollokshaws when I was a nipper.

Rebuttal is important and early rebuttal especially so, but access and finance are both limited. How can it be achieved without a bigger budget?

"Cult", "cultists", "people like me". Do you realise how arrogantly you come across with remarks like those? You're entitled to your opinion and to defend your case as you wish. But here's your reality check - you won't win over many people with that approach. Enjoy the rest of your night.
comment in response to post
As I said I'm not part of any cult. Of course you were never talking about Westminster. That is exactly the issue. You choose not to do so. When you address issues in both parliaments then your criticisms might gain some traction.
comment in response to post
I'm not part of any cult. I don't have a problem accepting that the SNP have a number of failings. I do have a problem with people who try maximise those issues whilst at the same time overlooking or minimising similar or greater problems in WM. They have no less impact on our wellbeing in Scotland
comment in response to post
You readily refer to SNP / Scottish Govt corruption and the impact it has on your life in Scotland. Why then do you find reference to prime examples of corruption in WM so hilarious? This is not "whataboutery", it puts your claims in context and it has at least as much impact on all our lives.

For the sake of reference, can you give any examples of similarly long winded investigations and charges which have eventually come to trial in the Scottish courts? Particularly any which have regularly been in the public eye.
comment in response to post
But have you got any policies for the good of Scotland?
comment in response to post
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now. But I find it strange that they should start their investigations on the very day that the place opens up. Why not let them at least get their processes established and up and running?

What's that? Smith?

It's a minefield for people with no knowledge of whisky and the whisky industry being taken in. Frequently by people who talk confidently but have only slightly more knowledge than their target market.
