Yea. It is still cool. It's just those things sent me into cognitive dissonance. My initial response was to scroll looking for "It's AI" comments to make sure I wasn't crazy lol

And not only that as a New Yorker who sees the statue regularly it's geographically wrong. The statue is not in the middle of the water. It's actually on an island that should've been visible in the background. Also skyline is wrong. It's not that far from land. The flame is missing completely ๐

Agreed. I feel like consequences need to be had. Even if I have to suffer myself

They didn't come to talk, they came to bother. That's the difference. No female wants to populate with a member of the goon squad

First off, why are we bothering people we don't know? What kind of cringe energy is this? 2nd, how you gonna approach anybody looking sloppy?

Yeah it was Civil War themed now that I remember. I'm from the south and for some reason our white high school teacher thought it would be a cool idea to take a field trip there with a 75% non-white class. Saying we were unenthused was an understatement. Talk about tone-deaf

Meathead Musk and co. think a strong military means a strong country.
I wouldn't go back either. I think this country has reached a point where, ppl need to suffer so they know elections have consequences or we might find ourselves back here again in the future. Maybe under someone worse than Trump

Right. It's like, America didn't get "great" by being cheap and hiring the worst people. We got here by investing in science. I do not believe it was so essential to fire our scientists in exchange for a drop in the bucket in the national debt. This guy's a moron

Sad the kid suffered because of its parents' stupidity. Should be charged with neglect

People don't die of measles in the US so most will be fine. The kid who died wasn't vaccinated and was the first death in over a decade. The kid was a Mennonite which is one of those weird religious groups that doesn't believe in "worldly things". So that tells me they were probably anti-vaxxers

Might not be a bad thing. Doesn't look like the Great Asteroid will be coming anytime soon, so I'll take extinction event by machines as second best

And don't have something in your hand, or then you'll be looking at assault, battery AND assault with a deadly weapon charges. That shit can pile up!

It IS complicated. Unnecessarily complicated imo but intentionally made complicated just for somebody's profit off someone else's stupidity in breaking the law

People potentially not serving the full sentence on one charge is why the court piles as many charges on you as possible so you could be breaking several laws just from one incident. An example is fighting. Even tho it's 1 fight, they'll hit you will assault and battery charges which they will stack

It depends but mostly no. The state and any other stipulations the judge may add with the sentencing can change it. For example, if she got 1 year but eligible for parole after 3 months, then she'd only serve 3 months in jail but would do the remainder of the 9 months at home with supervision.

Exactly. After example after example, people still keep putting money on the house that trickle-down economics work. How many more real-life examples do people need to get off the hopium!
