Hack is the way to go. I've been playing pokemon for a long time now, and people have nostalgia goggles for the first few gens. OG gen 1 has not aged well.

I agree, 0079 and Gunbuster are peak mech animes. But animation budget must've been big. Also I would have loved to see some more of the romance between Suletta and Miorine
