Otherland by Tad Williams would make a great TV miniseries. I heard itās in development, so hereās hoping itās gonna be made, and will be good š¤

Are you pushing the piston down while writing as the ink empties, or was that an attempt to squeeze out the remaining ink?
Iām still new to TWSBI and not sure what the proper procedure is; Iāve seen it done both ways.

Yeah, I know that feeling. If it requires a second person to assemble, they should include one in the box.

Epic alternate medieval history, with a grimdark bent. I would compare it in vibe to GRRM or Joe Abercrombie, but feminist.

Havenāt read it in a a while, but Iām pretty sure āRats and Gargoylesā by Mary Gentle (pub 1990) had a lesbian catgirl.
One of my favorite books from my youth, from one of my favorite authors. Her work frequently featured queer and gender-nonconforming characters.
I should re-read it someday.

Whenever Perdido Street Station comes up, it makes me sad that Mary Gentle isnāt more widely known. Rats and Gargoyles did the same thing better, and earlier. New Weird before it was recognized as a genre.

Yeah. More for the salt than the flavor, but without it itās too bland.

My comfort food is cheap ramen with barbecue sauce and shredded cheese.
Originally started eating this when I needed to save money, but got addicted to it, even though I can now afford better food.

As a reader who occasionally nominates for awards, the acknowledgements are often the only place to find the editor of the book (without diving into internet research).
I wish more publishers did proper credit pages, like for movies and video games.

My impulse buy was commissioning several pieces of custom art (escapism, not related to current events). Going to take a few weeks before I can show them off, and I definitely donāt want to rush the artists in these times.

The only problem with collecting books is that I constantly run out of space on my book shelves. Have to find more space for @kbspangler.com's books, they don't deserve to be squished so.

Reminds me of the blue/green meme that went around social media a couple weeks ago. To me, this ink is green. šµāš«
But I feel you on the color. When experimenting with inks, I found that I prefer darker shades too.

My musical taste trends more towards rock/metal than pop, but how about some J-Pop/Metal fusion? Could be described as dancey bouncey if you are generous, and definitely a banger - this band always makes me turn up the radio š¤
