There is anti-Americanism here in Europe on a similar scale. I find myself recoiling in disgust when I see anything American. This was not the case during Trumps first presidency. But after him trying to overturn the election and inciting a violent insurrection Americans STILL voted for him.

I know. Here in Europe there is disappointment about not standing up for Canadá more...or at all.

Oh Europeans know that half of Americans are good and intelligent people. That America is always there and remains family who we'll welcome back with open arms. We have our Trumps too you know. Every country does.

Certainly here in Europe I can't see America being forgiven (sorry American friends) for Trumps treatment of Zelensky and upcoming betrayal of Ukraine. He is trying to destroy the European Union make no mistake about it. His intent is clear even if he underestimates us/Ukraine and overestimates Rus

I've been thinking along those lines too. And not just the money side of things but the endangering of America that Trump is doing as agreed by most professional geopolitical and military analysts. I can't imagine the proper American military who knows friend from foe giving Trumpism a thumbs up

And we'll be rearming from scratch with the lessons of 21st century warfare learned. Trump might want three power blocks controlling the world. He might get them but not exactly how he anticipated.

Such a good point. Europe aren't going to touch anything American from now on. I write from Europe who are about to start fully rearming independent of America. I imagine the ACTUAL deep state (military industrial complex) isnt thrilled by Trumpism

Or in Trumps case all three...

The rest of the western world will never forgive Trump and America (sorry American friends) for the treatment of Zelensky and the betrayal of Ukraine. Will be interesting to see how the ACTUAL deep state (military industrial complex) views these actions which undermine American security

That's EXACTLY what the vast majority (apart from our own MEGAs) in Europe are saying.

Looking in from the outside it is all deeply troubling. The Republicans seem to have utterly rotted to the core and the pieces seem to be in motion for an authoritarian state. And much of Américan peoples brains seem to have utterly melted. Half of Americans live in a fantasyland of utter bullshit.

I know there are good Americans but after the Capital Hill Insurrección and Trump trying to overturn the elección 'moderates' still voted for Trump over Kamala. Maybe as a whole América doesn't deserve democracy. Voting in an undemocratic fascist is like a hospital hiring a serial killer as a doctor
