Have a very blessed Women’s Day! The blue of your blazer suits you so well.

It’s by choice. Generally, if you’re facing execution in the US, you can choose the method if the state provides methods other than lethal injection. I don’t agree with the death penalty, but there’s a lot of reasoning as to why firing squad is arguably the most humane. Tbh, it’s what I’d choose.

Proud of you, stranger! I have an SCI & know that those progress jumps are the cumulation of so much effort and love for yourself. You’re doing great work, and I’m sure your med team is proud of you, too.

I have suspicions that she’s not genuinely an industry worker and is doing some sort of weirdo LARP. The things she says are so out of touch with reality— indoor mid-high end workers experience violence, can have our boundaries violated, etc. I doubt her significantly.

Back when I was still in the industry, we crossed paths a couple of times. She, with her full chest, believes FSSW *should remain criminalized* because it allows her to “keep high rates”, completely living in a world where every FSSW is indoor & high-end. No concern for the vast majority of SWers.

Elon Musk was a troubled, erratic, vindictive, cruel person long before you heard about his drug use. Don't be so sure that what you're seeing is caused by any other drugs besides money, power, and impunity.

So many things went wrong. It’s very troubling how isolated from others they were that it was weeks before the wellness check was called. At that stage in his health, he should have had been receiving at-home RN and/or PCA care daily.

They operate in Switzerland. They are legally required to release reports to Swiss authorities (and subsequently Interpol), they are not subject to US subpoenas. But, message received, I’ll use carrier pigeons only and then kms for encouraging use of the safest accessible offshore email. Good job.

It’s more of a back-bend posture, from my understanding.

This isn’t “lauding” Trump. It’s criticism of the Democrats capitalist fetish, which isn’t wrong. Protonmail proper has always had a strong history of not releasing data to the US gov, it’s their business model. There’s a reason why it’s used by people who are more fringe culture (SWers esp).

Use Protonmail for all your offshore hosted email server needs. The kids in the movie Hackers intimidate me more than these kids, but they still have government reach. Protonmail + a trusted VPN is secure enough for most uses, and emailing between Protonmail accounts will be end to end encrypted.

It can be reversed with family & pro support, but they need to *want* to change. If they don’t see fault in their actions, they won’t want to change. Personally, I see no problem in ostracizing young men who have turned behaviors common in aggressive sexual predators into a subcultural movement.

I’ve beared witness to countless renditions of Pints of Guinness Makes You Strong, sung on porches of punk houses around the country (usually past midnight), so thanks for those memories. ♥️

Oh full agreed, esp if it can be demonstrated with other primary organizers also being fired around the same time. I know the coverage of the Sesame Street issue is mostly glossy, but it does seem like a legitimate downsize from funding uncertainty, and ofc non-union will always be most vulnerable.

The law is set up so at-will employers only have to cite other reasons for firing, like showing up late one time or whatever. It’s only illegal if the employer verbatim says “you’re fired for unionizing”. 🙃 The article cites production needing to downsize the studio after being dropped by MAX.

Also works for PoTS-induced tachycardia! Just a head’s up that most brand electrolyte powders aren’t super great for anything beyond topping off already adequate levels. I use Trioral packets, they’re for athlete + med support, and the closest thing to an OTC Ringer’s infusion.

It's been so depressing to watch most mainstream gay rights orgs dip their toe in tech policy while completely ignoring surveillance as an issue. Most org policies amounted to "platforms should take down more content faster" without any analysis of surveillance or censorship queer folks experience
