Most probably. However nudists are an innocuous bunch, easier than doing real police work that matters
comment in response to post
Like here there is no crime being committed but it's absolutely amazing the number of people (sometimes including police) who think merely being naked in public is an offense. Here it is not

I think it's a very nice beach

At the core Trump is no different to putin. A narcissistic bully who'd sell his own grandmother for a buck. If you cannot stand up for the values of civilization then you are less civilized than those who who first disregard them.

It does, it's a federation and operates in a similar manner to the UN. It allows us to create a set of policies and create a common voice. However the AANR chose to leave and as such I beleive the US has no representation there.

Nudity is further interpreted as a form of self expression. Nz'ers have the right of self expression.
comment in response to post
Further when NZ confirmed the UN convention on human rights it stated the human form has inherent dignity. To state every thing has dignity except "that bit" is a nonsense so it applies to the whole.

There is no actual law against public nudity in nz. If it's not a place where nudity is known or can be expected to occur, they might charge you with public nuisance. However, if you are on a beach, hiking, cycling or rurally. You'll be fine so long as you are not being lewd
comment in response to post
You don't have to rush here. In NZ merely being naked isn't illegal.

Fucking plastic fishing net. Plastic pollution will be the death of us and just about every other living thing.

Most times it's been pretty quiet. Passed a couple of groups once probably totalling 100. Yesterday I saw one cyclist in tunnel gulley, a group of 12? ramblers, maybe 7 cyclist plus a walker on the incline and 3 cars on the road from kaitoke to the car park

When I learnt to drive in the 1970s, cars were covered in insects. We are slowly sterilizing this planet, it's not too late yet but it's getting close

Given the restrictions and community standards i struggle to see how they can remotely classify themselves as "The land of the free".

Was always going to be the case when moderation came off. Money, such as there is, gets spent in the wrong place

Technically here you do, however most women don't take advantage of it. Mind you being naked here is not an offense but most people don't actually know that

I love pickled mushrooms, maybe I'm the devil?

I think you're totally right. There are a number of facets driving the censorship of the naked form. Prohibition and hence the porn industry being a major one. I'd also add fashion amongst others.

I hate it, anything but pineapple I reckon
comment in response to post
Look forward to it

Not really, it's a competition but not a sport
comment in response to post
And they totally should be. Sports are about bodies competing and it should be done naked.

The plimmer steps just around the corner also offer great opportunities.
