I did that for my daughter too, in November. Also had a talk about what to do if ICE. We suspect her mostly white private Catholic college will be safe for her, but I want to have conversation with Dean of Students about that.

This is a weird solution, but my vet recommended Vicks VapoRub to keep kitten away from her stitches. I put some on cotton balls and put them in the plants. Didn’t seem to hurt the plant, kitten found it very aversive and wouldn’t approach while it was fresh.
