I think the evidence says otherwise. An unvaccinated child may recover from a disease but has unwittingly passed that disease to 100s of other children and adults…some of whom, even though vaccinated have underlying conditions and will be left permanently disabled or die.

This should be obvious : if the salary attracts better candidates then your offer better be on par with other professionals like, Nurses, plumbers, lawyers. Its vital to attract well educated, but you won't if you don't pay according to their options. Sad, really.

Well, I agree in part, but I believe the largest cause is lack of good education. Funding and salary are the problems. The highest rated country for education is also the one paying their teachers the most of all.

Yes. I'm US citizen and fully agree. In fact the unintended consequences are good for the country! It's removes from the citizenry the dumbest amoung us. This is what happens when education is not only not stressed, but openly ridiculed! Unbelievable but Dunning-Kruger effect is real.
