This sounds amazing!

I’m seeing them in Brooklyn! Can’t wait!

Same! It’s so sleek looking. People complain about the keys, but I find it gives the synth character.

That never even occurred to me. Thanks for the tip!

This is an incredible album! I always listen to it from start to finish.

Thanks for this! I’ve been asking people what they are using for their visuals, I’d like to try other things out. Right now I use After Effects, but other answers I’ve gotten were Touchdesigner, and Resolume.
comment in response to post
Very cool! What did you use to glitch the visuals?

Confield and Grantz Graf are me least listen to releases by them, not sure why, they just didn’t grab me as some of the others. My favorites are LP5, Exai, Quaristice (and the bonus EPs), and the NTS sessions.

Finally finished with Autechre's discography! I made a playlist of my favorites by them, unfortunately, Spotify is missing 2 releases (Quaristice bonus EPs), so this list isn't complete. open.spotify.com/playlist/0sY...

Track 10 on there is such an incredible track, but when I tried finding more by that artist I always came up empty.
comment in response to post
Oh no way! I have this compilation in my collection, along with the bonus tracks they released!
comment in response to post
They released this song for the Bleep 10 compilation, that I really enjoyed: youtu.be/rQ84hKQPTAA?...

I'd like to share two songs I've found while on this adventure thru Autechre's discography: Autechre and Venetian Snares did a collab for a compilation album back in 2008: youtu.be/MvzSINVVEbM?...

My favorite post 2010s is Exai. I start Elseq tomorrow.

Yes, actually! I was lucky enough to see them live twice. This all came about because I wanted to make a playlist of my favorite tracks. I usually listen to them in small doses, but this megadose has my brain all 😵‍💫

I love how dirty the MS20 sounds!

I’ve thought about diving in for years, messed around with VCV a few times, just never took the plunge.

I had the same thought the other day, so I signed out just to see…didn’t recognize a damn thing!

Love this song!

Some solid acid right here! Nice work!

Very nice setup!

I could really go for a new BoC album. After years of listening, Tomorrow’s Harvest is probably my favorite by them.

Very cool!

I knew others were doing similar projects, but didn’t know where to look. Thanks for this!

I really enjoyed doing them, and I'd like to share some of my favorites here. Most of the songs are about 1:30 minutes. They are like little audio doodles, I may expand on them in the future. Here is a one I made with a nice laidback beat. Enjoy! (4) on.soundcloud.com/UkH3mvS1Firb...

We had 2 hours to make a song. We didn't have to use all the samples, but we couldn't use anything outside of the sample folder. I did this (almost) every Friday for 3 years, and have a collection of 148 songs. I thought of them as little vignettes, every week it was something new. (3)

The sample library was pooled together by members of the server. A mix of one shots, samples, found sounds, breaks, etc. Then my friend wrote a script that would pick 10 samples at random and put them into a folder and every Friday at midnight it would release it on to the server. (2)

That song always pops in my head when I’m at work and the boss asks about a task/project/assignment that I’m in the middle of.

That’s awesome! Thanks, I may have to try that one day
comment in response to post
I’m curious, what did you use to make the visuals?

I would have loved to go to that tour. The Downward Spiral is on my top 5 favorite albums list.

Mr. Saturn!!

I’m not sure it’s actually better, but from personal experience it’s much more ubiquitous. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard “Bandcamp is still around?”

I like these winter sun shots, you’ve posted a few and I always enjoy them.

It’s so hard for me to pick one favorite BoC album, they are all so good in their own way. This one has one of my favorite songs by them though (Kid for Today)

Wow! The sound design you put into this sounds awesome!
