I ran school council so we regularly did questionnaire of what activities chn wanted too.

I was lucky coz being part time and finishing at lunch time meant I could run clubs then so no need for chn to stay in school longer. Had to rotate groups attending so wasn't only ones who didn't like playing out! #PrimaryRocks

Initial cost for stamps and postcards, then no cost with emails and PowerPoint etc. #PrimaryRocks

I asked on FB if anyone in any other schools wanted to link up with our children by sending postcards. Think we got 5 schools in UK, then one in France, Spain and Norway. We sent postcards to intro, and they sent back. Sent a couple each, then moved to email. Y2-y4, only emailed when supervised

#PrimaryRocks A recycled fashion club ending in a show for parents, and a penpal club with schools around the country and abroad. Started off with letters, then emails.

I saw someone interviewed on news earlier who said it didn't matter coz it's just a label. What an attitude.

I still use these. They are really good so why reinvent the wheel!

Yep, my mam still has all of my dad's records he had.

We had a radiogram as well. Took up so much space!

#PrimaryRocks I can still picture my little cat sleeping in front of the calor gas heater. Soon as it was switched on, she would appear! I can still smell the heater and also the twin tub with the hot soapy water and tongs every wash day.

Love this idea. I'm sure there are many others who would benefit in loads of areas too.

Did you use the one in Milly Molly Mandy? Made me fall in love with maps in books as a child!

So much important stuff could have been achieved with that amount. Makes me really angry.

My sons were doing GCSEs and ALevels, new leadership team at school were awful, target on our UPS over 50s backs, and my health was suffering- all seemed like perfect time to go. I miss the classroom and the routines, but I love my freedom to choose now.

I gave up my job because I lost all respect for the leadership. It was scary, but definitely the right decision. I now do occasional supply which I enjoy, but prioritise my health so much more. I'm skint but less interested in shopping for stuff I don't need and I'm much better at saying no!
