So Nigel Farage has chosen to explain away Trump’s outrageous remarks about President Zelensky instead of doing the right thing and condemning them. Deeply disappointing but not at all surprising. He sounds like a spokesman for Trump. He certainly doesn’t speak for Britain.

What a pathetic little man…

It's been quite something to watch supposedly 'patriotic' British newspapers actively cheerleading on a foreign administration that is openly working against our interests.

The Brexit Curse British food exports to EU ‘have fallen £3bn a year since Brexit’. Border checks, lower standards on pesticides, veterinary drugs, animal welfare make UK exports harder. Brexit costing UK economy about £100bn a year. Rejoin EU. www.theguardian.com/business/202...

"If a woman doesn't look woman enough to a Republican, they want to be able to inspect your genitals to use a bathroom? It's disgusting. Everyone should reject it completely... they're endangering women, they're endangering girls of all kind, and everyone should reject it. It's gross." - AOC

Scratching the surface of Farage and his real political, er, leaning @adambienkov.bsky.social reports ⏬

One of the best pubs in London struggling for survival because planning is stacked in favour of some powerful NIMBYs. Everything that’s wrong with Britain.

As Health Secretary Matt Hancock sent Covid infected patients into Care Homes with zero protection for other residents leading to 30,000-40,000 deaths. Now at the Covid inquiry he blames Nicola Sturgeon. He and Johnson should be in court.

How many of these do we have?

So true. 💯

Raw unvarnished truth here.

Who has been killing the land owners? Own up to it x

Never have I seen anything more pathetic.

BREAKING: The vast majority of farms will not be affected” says Environment Secretary Steve Reed adding it's only right the wealthiest landowners "pay their fair share”

Raw sewage from new homes being flushed into river. Back to the 19th century. Did Thames Water and developers not know? That's what you get with privatisation of essential services, deregulation of planning. Govt promising more housing deregulation. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

BREAKING: Italy has just sent 15 tons of aid to Gaza so Israel says it will do its very best to ensure it doesn't get through x

If the farmers break the law tomorrow we better see the same response we see to Just Stop Oil. No two tier justice.

Privatised Social Care has meant that they are making £45,000 per child in profit every year. £45,000 stolen from every child in care, that you have to pay for, for the profits of billionaires who steal from orphans. Privatisation needs to die.

It's not a difference of political opinions if the opposing side's opinion is that you aren't human or shouldn't exist. That's not how anything works.

Word of this morning is ‘procaffeinate’: to put everything on hold until you’ve had sufficient amounts of coffee.

A word on the Allison Pearson free speech row, and what she describes as a ‘Kafkaesque’ threat to it. We asked her on @thenewsagents.bsky.social to discuss. She said: ‘No. And if you get any aspect of the story wrong my lawyers will be watching.’ Gotta love a free speech warrior 🤷🏻‍♂️

I can appreciate the fear of those with more extreme views invading this space, but we do need to stand up to them, their assertions have little substance & are more often based on lies. They are bullies but there are far more of us who are kind and care.

I stand with my friend Sangita.

Farmers and how only the super rich, less than 100 a year will be taxed, and still at only 20%.

Interesting space, more like twitter used to be
