That's more like free software "users do the QA" mindset than agile methodology, but regardless of the terminology it's obviously not something you should do when lives are at stake.

That would indeed fit how Tesla's software is reportedly being built, and how he handled Twitter.

Thanks, I'll take a look ☺️.

Nice rise of the EU and UK funds, if I read this chart correctly ?

They were already instrumental in the selling of the war in Iraq 20 years ago, and they are still there, unchallenged, barely opposed, except by even worse channels like Newsmax.

It would be ironic if this triggered discontent in the gamer community (fiber beats sat in ping times) as they did help getting Trump elected in 2016 (gamergate and all that) (poke @colas.nahaboo.net )

Today I learned the Wall Street Journal is "globalist" 😂.

Just one thing, he seems to genuinely think that Elon Musk is a genius. I hope someone will clue him in about this soon 😅.

Thanks for the info, it was totally out of my news scope.

Now that is quite the plot twist 😄.

Could you be a bit more specific ? News about GoLang ?

Seriously ? I thought this one had reached a niche status, Rust feels more interesting.

Maybe the average guy didn't feel how great the economy was under Biden, but they'll sure as hell feel how bad it will get under Trumpmusk.

Given the profile of the DOGE kids and how they operate, the Russians (and others) would be grossly incompetent if they didn't have at least a copy of whatever system the DOGE kids fumbled with.

True, and cancer has been properly defined only recently, in the 20th century if I recall correctly.

True, unfortunately (tobacco and alcohol being huge ones).

That and the aging of the population, the older you are the more likely you are to get cancer somewhere.

If I may be pedantic, it's not quite the same logic. We're better at detecting autism, hence the apparent rise in cases. But the reason we have "more" cancer cases now is because it's the last great "killer" disease that remains, all the others from 200y ago are now treatable.

comment in response to

While I'm at it, there was also Luke Cage, a super-strong black man, impervious to bullets, which was released in 2016, at a time when black people being shot by the US police started to finally get more attention.
Marvel has often been quite on point.

In a similar vein, the arc "Agents of Hydra" from the tv series Agents of SHIELD took a lot from Trump's first term.

Given the political leaning of veterans, I guess we're also going to find out if overtly despising a whole lot of right-wing military-trained gun owners has consequences or not.
