I have major depression and youāre absolutely right, but OP is right, too. Sometimes depression is bad and thereās not much you can do to make it betterā¦ but there ARE things you can do to make it worse. Isolation sometimes seems attractive, but it has almost always made it worse for me. My 2 cents.

Knee-jerk reaction is that this will just split the vote, resulting in more āRegressiveā victories. But if a lot of people, including current democrats, can get behind this, I think it would be a good idea to leave the old parties behind.

Bad framing. WE are not giving them anything. THEY created this terrible situation counting on people like you to cave to their demands. We need you to stand up for us. Any shutdown is the fault of the party that has control over all 3 branches of government.

It already is a disaster. Weāve seen how if you give Trump an inch, heāll take a mile. This CR is much bigger than an inch. If you give him this, he still wonāt respect you, and neither will the American people. Thereās still time to change your mind.

The most conservative person I personally know would label himself as a moderate. He was my roommate for over a year. It was very uncomfortable.

My boss keeps telling me not to rock the boat with politics in our government office, but the far right gets to do and say whatever they want on both a macro and a micro scale. Iām so over the hypocrisy.

My parents live in that part of Colorado, and they are highly progressive. Unfortunately, the latest redistricting made them Boebertās constituents, and they were NOT HAPPY about it.
That said, some of their neighbors clearly ate too much glue in kindergarten.

Iāve been calling Senator Booker at least twice a week since the inauguration, and Iāve never spoken to a live person. Sometimes the mailbox is full, but usually, Iām able to leave a message
