This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell. This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

Here is a better copy of the letter. 😊🦋

Not gonna lie. I'm surprised and disappointed not to see more blue and yellow at the Oscars.

Zelenskyy stayed in Kyiv while Russia was bombing the city and sending in hit squads to kill him. J.D. Vance fled to an undisclosed location because some peaceful protesters yelled at him while he was on vacation. This is why I believe victory over these people is still possible.

my dog when I ask what’s in his mouth

"VANCE IS A TRAITOR GO SKI IN RUSSIA," #3E #EndImpunity #StandWithUkraine

He refused to bend the knee to Putin's Puppet and Couchfucker McGee. SLAVA UKRAINI!🌻💪

Fox News reported that JD Vance had to move to an “undisclosed location” due to protests at the Vermont resort where he’s skiing this weekend. For inflicting misery on the world and here at home in America, this is exactly the energy that should greet Vance wherever he goes for the rest of his days.

Ending the night with this. *Get your hankies* A D-Day veteran called a gracious and humbled Zelenskyy a hero.

NEW: Senator Marshall (R-KS) RUNS AWAY, fleeing his own town hall after being asked about DOGE firing Veterans. MAKE HIM GO VIRAL.

what a day

Here's the best thing I ever read about Gene Hackman, by @rbuas.bsky.social at @flaminghydra.com flaminghydra.com/gene-hackman...

You first.

Hill received Secret Service awards and was promoted for his actions that day, but for decades blamed himself for Kennedy's death, saying he would gladly have given his life to save the president.

We dare Mike Johnson to give that answer at a town hall in front of his constituents

This is indeed brilliant

The visual metaphor in this film is light equals truth. Eg the newsroom is really bright. And the boys begin to learn the truth of Watergate when Deep Throat/Holbrooke strikes that match in the dark garage. Genius.

paris proves it: when we stop designing cities for cars and start designing them for people, the air clears, the streets come alive, and life gets better. less smog, more green. less noise, more joy. fewer fumes, more kids playing safely. this isn't some hippy dream, it's a choice.

Did someone replace the headline writer at @nytimes.com with a person who understands current events?

another Nazi salute at CPAC

It's weird how everyone in the world knows a Nazi salute when we see it, with the notable exception of journalists and their editors.

Even before Cambridge Analytica was named that, the company existed to manipulate elections via social media: presidential, Brexit, etc. It's not that the algo was "biased." That was the purpose of the algo. See Christopher Wylie's book Mindf*ck. It's legal, and it works, and it's scary.

My Senators @chrismurphyct.bsky.social and @blumenthal.senate.gov are doing a great job. How are yours doing? Let them know.

It’s not a coincidence—it’s a warning.

Dark Pence is back.

This is Luke Farritor. He is the 23 year old that fired all the staff in charge of our nuclear arsenal. Don't worry, though. He completed an internship with SpaceX, so I'm sure he is clearly qualified to determine whether our nuclear arms should be adequately staffed by qualified persons. 🤯🤯🤯

“In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends." As the foundation of #democracy in America crumbles and the vulnerable are under attack from a rogue administration, we, the people, are asking our former presidents to "Say something!”

Now this, I can co-sign.

We have an unmissable episode coming up on Marks & Vincentelli, for *paying subscribers* only: an analysis of the weaponization of the Kennedy Center. Our guest is the perceptive, tenacious, steeped-in-knowledge Anne Midgette, former classical music critic of the Washington Post.

Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post would not run this ad. This is the power of oligarchy.

Yes Bunny 👏🏽

Upon receiving the news that four of the City's Deputy Mayors have submitted their resignations, I sent the following letter to @nycmayor.

I maxed out my credit card, emptied my savings account, and took out a loan to move from Alabama to Bethesda, MD. I don’t even qualify for unemployment since I’ve only worked at NIH for a month. I will be financially and medically devastated. Seeking suggestions for anywhere that’s hiring!!

as a playwright, I feel a lot of big feelings about seeing organizations like the Playwrights Center and New Harmony - nonprofits which incubate, develop and support new plays and support living playwrights - bravely call out the NEA’s cowardice and defend diverse voices in the American theatre
