Visited my parents in the UK for the first time in 2 years, recently. I thought it was bad in 2022… but the hate has boiled over in even the most (historically speaking) accepting and diverse areas of London. I wish I was surprised, but I’m not. Cowards all: Biden signs bills with anti-trans laws, Meta allows anti-trans rhetoric, Walmart and McDonald’s ditch DEI, Disney cuts trans stories. All this & Trump’s not even in office yet. Not surprising, but it shows how quickly they cede in advance because they only ever care for money & power.
