Come and join my brilliant team! We are looking for a digital comms assistant on a mat cover to work with the superb @pk101.bsky.social to bring data stories to life, innovate with AI, maintain our website and lots more. Please share with your networks 👇

The new report on #NHS admin from @thekingsfund.bsky.social @nationalvoices.bsky.social & @healthwatchengland.bsky.social chimes with my plea in this @uk.theconversation.com piece for serious attention to admin, before shifting the NHS ‘from analogue to digital’: theconversation.com/the-nhs-is-i...

This is such a timely report from @thekingsfund.bsky.social @nationalvoices.bsky.social and @healthwatchengland.bsky.social on a vitally important topic. The #NHS has to have fully efficient admin if it is ever to assure properly coordinated or integrated care #healthpolicy #medsky

The Health and Wellbeing Alliance (funded by DHSC @england.nhs.uk @ukhsa.bsky.social) is an essential platform for some of our most marginalised communities to have their say on national policy making. Proves people aren’t “hard to reach” when you work with them, on topics that matter to them.

www.theguardian.com/commentisfre... A succinct little sketch from yesterday's @theguardian.com in which Zoe Williams sums up our collective failure on social care.

New on the blog 📢 Following the publication yesterday of our new report with @thekingsfund.bsky.social and @healthwatchengland.bsky.social, our Chief Executive, @jacoblant.bsky.social writes about why tackling #NHSAdmin will help improve outcomes. 👉 www.nationalvoices.org.uk/blogpost/why...

Was great to work with @tlap.bsky.social & a really insightful group of people to consider the principles that should inform the use of GenAI in social care. Some really important points captured in this, which together suggest a need for FAR more caution than I’m currently seeing across the sector

At a time when people are at their most vulnerable fighting because of poor admin is the last thing they need. And at a time when our health workers are stretched to breaking a smooth running system would be one big pressure off. Excellent report from kings fund, health watch and national voices

Today we launched a new report with @thekingsfund.bsky.social & @healthwatchengland.bsky.social which demonstrates the scale and impact of poor #NHSAdmin. Read a thread from our Chief Executive, @jacoblant.bsky.social on why ending the 'admin doom loop' is so crucial 👇

Good to see coverage if this report. Admin & comms isnt glamorous or new - but it’s the basis of most complaints in the NHD & critical to get right. @jacoblant.bsky.social @hbuckingham.bsky.social www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

"But Napoleon didn't end his career as an emperor. He ended it as a prisoner of the British on a small volcanic island more than a thousand miles off the coast of southern Africa." Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it, as they say...

🧵 We need to put admin on the agenda 📢 Our new research, published today alongside @thekingsfund.bsky.social & @healthwatchengland.bsky.social shows how commonplace issues with #NHSAdmin are. www.kingsfund.org.uk/insight-and-...

It was good to hear this @nationalvoices.bsky.social @thekingsfund.bsky.social @healthwatchengland.bsky.social report featured on @bbcradio4.bsky.social Today programme this morning. Getting the basics right really matters to patients and staff, and the shiny stuff won't work properly without it.

@aashacowey.bsky.social

The test isn’t whether you can dig out a weird job title or individual earnestness but whether *all* the people the NHS is there to serve get equal health outcomes and respectful treatment, and whether staff are supported to do that. Data is clear. Grow up, Times. www.thetimes.com/article/541f...

So proud of my team and all our @nationalvoices.bsky.social lived experience partners who helped bring this all together. And thanks Helen for taking part in the launch event too. So impressed we had over 400 delegates! :) Friends, colleagues, stakeholders read below … you have been dared.

The harder you make it, the more unequal your outcomes are going to be, too. #LongWayToGo

This is SUCH a predictable scenario. And such poor system design. Honestly even if GP practices can't see this for themselves (& they should), the software companies ought to invest in some codesign.

This couldn't be clearer. There remain some decent Republicans, time they stood up to be counted. Easy for me to say, I know, sitting on my sofa 1000s of miles away. But still, it is.

Y’all come quick, the museums are doing super bowls again

One good thread enclosing another good thread. Those of us privileged enough to be shocked by discrimination are privileged enough to do something about it.

Our new report on with the Health Economic Unit and @mariecurieuk.bsky.social 👇

A relatively short piece of guidance, a huge work programme ahead for the health and care system to put the Neighbourhood into the NHS (the Neighbourhood Health Service, that is). @nigel-edwards.bsky.social & I assess the scale of the challenge for @pplthinks.bsky.social ppl.org.uk/neighbourhoo...

The printing press enabled the information revolution long before AI... and rather more reliably. Lovely thread. Please keep us updated @ryancordell.org!

We’re thrilled to be supporting Gathering Ground and Tate Neighbours: Community Gatherings at Tate Modern with a donation from our Social Impact Fund.

Alongside the NHS Planning Guidance published last week, NHS England also published more guidance on the development of neighbourhood working.

Canada is still a member of the Commonwealth, I think? #FriendsInHighPlaces 🇨🇦🇬🇧
