Ya, it’s gotta be a solved problem but it’s what’s holding me back, not knowing and not wanting to fiddle around. Also Apple putting genAI on everything…

Did you have any problems with TFA apps, eg, what use at U?

Honestly good advice and practice. Related: My to-do list today included ordering Girl Scout cookies and coffee. (✅ and ✅.)

And then all that stuff on the ground, viewed from MRO/HiRISE 275 km/170 miles up, one day later.

Remote attendance is also an accessibility feature for those who cannot travel, those who have sight or hearing needs, among others. The tech isn't perfect but it's better than not being able to be involved at all.

There are whole categories of professional people who do planetary science that don't go to the meetings because they're not typically for us, e.g., mission ops folks, telescope ops, software developers; a remote option would be welcome I think.

Anyway, I think if I just swap the controls around it'll be a lot easier for me, a right-handed person.

It's a pretty good soundtrack! The game itself plays real nice on my M1 iMac, except the default controls are terrible for me. They feel like they're for left-handed people—and it's great to have controls for left-handers, so maybe this is a case of the shoe being on the other foot.

There are a lot of amateur astronomers who discover new asteroids. NASA's Daily Minor Planet citizen science project is open to everyone and every month we make new discoveries:
