Not only that but it’s the best comedy of all time

It’s really wild how there is no reason to deport anyone, let alone children and US citizens and LPRs and students and people undergoing cancer treatment etc. it’s all a fake solution to a made up problem enacted by violent racists who are stealing from you

I had a cream of mushroom soup at a restaurant in Twentynine Palms back in 2011 that was the best soup I have ever had in my life. I don’t know the name of the place, and can’t seem to find it online. I only went once but I don’t think any other soup will ever top it.

I will say it again: If we make it through this dark period with democracy intact, it may be because the administration's incompetence was greater than its depravity.

Bishop Heahmund perhaps?

Dragonfly out in the sun, you know what I mean, don't you know Butterflies all havin' fun, you know what I mean Sleep in peace when day is done, that's what I mean And this old world is a new world And a bold world For me

The world sucks but yesterday my 4 year old asked me to put on Wu Tang and proceeded to say “Wu Tang Clan ain’t nothing to mess with” and “you must protect your neck” over and over afterwards. Small things like these

What more does he need to do for someone to call for impeachment?

The boycott is working, Target’s stock has declined for 10 consecutive weeks. It’s the longest losing streak in the company’s history. I don’t know which business owner needs to hear this, but you don’t magically get conservative customers by betraying your liberal ones. Go anti-woke, go broke. 📉

I am also the author of a history of concentration camps in the Soviet Union, and I concur

My sign for today’s protest: #makebigotsquietagain

Those destroying virtue have immense privilege. It is often the profoundly privileged who conjure reasons for discontent or perceived injustices. Those grappling with genuine hardship rarely do. We possess the capacity for extraordinary prosperity. It is privilege that deepens our divisions.

He wore the cheesehead hat in WI. Spent $20 million. Paid people to sign petitions. Paid people to canvas. Did million dollar giveaways. A rally. TV interviews. But I guess people in Wisconsin didn’t appreciate an oligarch trying to buy their civil liberties.

I just read this book last night and it gave me the push I needed to fight, rather than feel defeated It is such a quick and digestible read & it could change your life like it did mine. Please share because this message needs to be broadcasted far and wide @timothysnyder.bsky.social

“Abrego Garcia, who is married to a U.S. citizen and has a 5-year-old disabled child who is also a U.S. citizen, has no criminal record in the United States”

I am fucking crying. Pure vile, evil things are happening by this government.

“you don’t know, when you make love for the last time, that you are…Voting is like that. Some of the Germans who voted for the Nazi party in 1932 no doubt understood that this might be the last meaningfully free election for some time, but most did not.” - Timothy Snyder

“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty”

Oligarchs buying elections with million dollar giveaways. Hopefully people in Wisconsin won’t allow the South African to purchase a seat on your Supreme Court just like he bought the US federal government.

This is a German woman being marched past the bodies of Holocaust victims. After World War II, it was a common refrain among German civilians: They just didn't know. For that reason, many were forced by Allied troops to bear witness. Like this. 🧵

“We are currently clean on OPSEC” accidentally sent to a journalist is an all time classic.

“It would be a man’s happiest lot to depart from mankind without having any taste of lying and hypocrisy and luxury and pride…Hast thou determined to abide with vice, and has experience yet induced thee to fly from this pestilence?” - what Marcus Aurelius would say to Trump today

Thinking about this word all day today:

who did this

“All this is foul smell and blood in a bag.”

I just hit 2 1/2 years of sobriety! If anyone is sober curious you can reach out!

It’s a shame Elon is such a bigot because he could have been so beautiful in drag.

“She thinks happiness is just a mat on her doorway” is nice

eating my once-a-month egg mcmuffin and once again convinced that this is on the mount rushmore of breakfast sandwiches

The US intelligence that Trump stopped was giving Ukraine proactive missile targeting information of Russian attacks on civilians and military. This will without a doubt mean more innocent lives lost in Ukraine. Completely indefensible.

Almost all of my favorite politicians right now are women

Know who thinks Trump is aligned to Russia? Putin

If this US crypto reserve blatant scheme to siphon off your tax dollars into Trump and his friends pockets isn’t enough to make you stop investing it in, nothing will be.
