A good summary of the online academic experience is: I joined a group for critical Korean studies, found out it was just random people posting about Korean news, dwelled deeper to find it was mostly right leaning white guys. When I complained they didn’t know what critical theory meant.

I heavily disagree with the characterization of masculine and feminine ideals being categorized into conforming or not to 无为 and 自然. First, because we need to bracket them as [traditionally western] ideas of xyz, and second because the split may not entirely be present in the DDJ to begin with.

Really wish people would stop talking about the problem with Science under Trump as “budget cuts”. No. Budgets are set deliberatively by elected members of congress. Budgets haven’t been cut. What’s happening are *purges* and *censorship*.
