Remember, Russell Vought said he wanted to "traumatize" federal civil servants.

They actually did this this is all so horrible, illegal and incredibly stupid

Ffs🤦‍♀️

Really truly hate that this guy operating as president has become normalized

This is real. And I have never seen the competence, morals, standards and communication strategy of any government collapse so fast.

His addled brain just running the Twitter acquisition over and over and over.

Oh, FFS, this is nuts. Beyond legallity, love to see how this works for DOD/Intel people who only have classified email working on TS and above stuff. Or say, wildland fire fighters or prison guards? www.politico.com/news/2025/02...

Elon seeing his kid no more than 3 times isn’t surprising and is also pretty indicative that he views both women and children as disposable status symbols. A guy truly high on his own supply.

I love the idea that the ketamine and video game junky with 13 (known) kids who posts 200 times a day and who works for the golfer in chief is worried that *other people* aren’t working hard enough.

The resignation of a federal employee must be voluntary. I highly doubt failure to respond to this email---sent on a Saturday---would be understood by any court to be a voluntary resignation.

DANCE FOR ME, PEASANTS! DANCE!

It is insanely obvious that Elon Musk is illegally exercising the powers of a principal officer of the United States in violation of the appointments clause

Seen this happen more than once already

If you are a Federal employee, this is an HR matter and make it their problem If you have union representation, see if they will call this an irregular evaluation by a member of the public

Interesting thing for the President to say about a person who, according the government’s lawyers, “has no actual or formal authority to make government decisions himself” and “only has the ability to advise the President, or communicate the President’s directives.”

Federal employees are now being told they will be fired if they do not reply to a guy who does not respond to the Moms of his kids.

The President who was doing flyovers at Daytona and golfing through his presidency wants an accounting of every federal employee’s work week or they will be fired. This while Elon Musk won’t account for any of his time to Congress.

At the Long Beach Tesla Takedown, lots of folks out here (I’d estimate probably 40-50 so far) and lots of support from cars driving by. Come out and join!

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Elon Musk and DOGE:

By accepting Trump’s anti-Black premise and regurgitating the narrative that equates anything Black as DEI, the NY Times has become part of the propaganda machine

Republicans=Nazis

“If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” A classic quote from Malcolm X, who was assassinated 60 years ago today.

I don’t know how many different ways to say that agency personnel don’t work for Elon. They don’t have to report to Elon. They report to their agency leadership, which reports to the President.

Guy who doesn’t even respond to the mothers of his children: reply to my email or you’re fired

Representatives are having a rough time answering to their constituents. Make sure you keep calling, and absolutely show up to your local town halls and make sure your voices are heard.

Doing this while your child's mother is frantically trying to get in touch with you

Wait, what?

Chuckling at Gorsuch's dissent (joined by Alito) in the Special Counsel case, where the majority kicked the can a few days. "Apparently?" Based on an 1898 case? You're making a ridiculous 'originalist' argument that renders courts powerless and you don't have better cites? C'mon, man.

Kash Patel wrote a children's book series about King Trump.

Fantastic piece by @adamserwer.bsky.social of the resegregation of America under Trump.

New findings from Trump’s longtime pollster Tony Fabrizio & Bob Ward Generic ballot —> D+5 Among swing voters: —66% say tax priority should be helping working class families; 1% say helping highest earners —Top-polling policy: extend expiring health care tax credits under ACA

It crazy how 35 degrees and sunny feels like tshirt weather to me after several weeks in the teens.

The attacks on DEI are a pretext for a much more radical agenda of reversing the gains of the civil rights movement, an objective the Trump administration is pursuing with zeal. A Great Resegregation. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

“That is why Trumpists are so focused on “ending DEI” in the federal workforce. They see anti-discrimination and inclusion as a ladder of upward mobility for people they do not believe should have one.”

One of the things that has made people shy away from naming our fascism is because we are expecting state controlled brown shirts in the streets. But the Black American experience should teach us that the fascist here uses every day disorganized deputized violence every bit as as effectively.

Keep digging guys!

Listen to @radiofreetom.bsky.social! "Now that Trump has captured the intelligence services, the Justice Department, and the FBI, the military is the last piece he needs to establish the foundations for authoritarian control of the U.S. government."

@adamserwer.bsky.social nails it here--the real goals of the attack on DEI. Read and share. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

If you see a someone drowning as a great opportunity to extract value, you are almost definitely a bad person.

Whoops

let me say that this is the classic “just asking questions” approach to delegitimizing the achievements of black people. and critically, you don’t even have to be a black person who talks about race. simply being black to these people means you are “obsessed with race.”
