Janus was the Roman god of new beginnings. One face looks back, one looks forward. ‘January’ derives from his name. Since Bluesky is a fresh start for many, let’s consider Ovid’s words: “Omnia sunt Ianus reserante patentia nobis!” “All things are open to us with Janus unlocking the way.”

Goodreads is owned by Amazon & there is an AMAZING alternative‼️ The StoryGraph is a black women-owned competitor to GoodReads with better UI in my opinion. When you sign up you can even transfer your data from Goodreads to StoryGraph!
