8/8 I’m telling you this because you deserve to know. Because we can still respond. Forget politicians, forget billionaires- they’re securing themselves, not us. It’s time for real resilience: community, local food, mutual aid, and solidarity. We build what they won’t.

7/8 Collapse isn’t one big Hollywood-style event. It’s the NHS struggling, shelves emptying, power outages, heatwaves, flooding, refugees, and governments quietly militarising. It’s already happening. We have to stop pretending otherwise.

6/8 Science Progress (2023) didn’t sugarcoat it either. They said plainly: the root cause is us- our lifestyles, our politics, our economic models. We’re living in psychological overshoot. Our way of life itself is collapsing. journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/00368504231161604

5/8 In 2021, leading scientists in PNAS warned explicitly about a “ghastly future”- massive biodiversity loss, collapsing ecosystems, and leaders doing absolutely nothing meaningful. We were warned, clearly. pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2023989118

4/8 In 2025, King’s College London warned the UK gov: extreme wealth inequality, climate chaos & failing infrastructure could cause societal breakdown here within 10yrs. They literally said we’re on a collapse trajectory right now. kcl.ac.uk/news/wealth-inequality-risks-triggering-societal-collapse

3/8 In 2014, Melbourne Uni double-checked MIT’s work with real-world evidence. The results matched again: our society’s foundations- food, energy, economy- start to crack around 2040. We’re on that path right now. sustainable.unimelb.edu.au/publications

2/8 In the '70s, MIT scientists built a model to see how long humanity could keep growing on a finite planet. It showed collapse starting around 2040 if we kept on as usual. Decades later, real-world data still tracks exactly to their projection. clubofrome.org/publication/the-limits-to-growth

Planting food is just the start. It’s how we reclaim power, rebuild trust, and reconnect with each other. Grow skills. Grow networks. Grow hope. #CollapseAware #MutualAid #GrowToSurvive #PostCollapsePrep

We must build from the ground up. Local resilience, mutual aid, skills sharing. The system is collapsing, we have to save ourselves.

I'd like to leave this here, if I may?

8/8 This is the last warning. No one is coming. It’s up to us now. Plant the seeds. Build the networks. Prepare. Together. #collapseawarepreston #notimeleft

7/ But it’s not over. Communities form in the cracks. Food grown together. Water collected. Energy shared. Protection offered. We build what they never could. #mutualaid #resilience

6/ Wars for what’s left. Water. Land. Heat and hunger drive billions to move. Walls are built. Guns are loaded. #resourcewars

5/ The wealthy retreat. Private security. Private farms. Private water. They planned this. You are not part of it. #classwar

4/ The state tightens its grip. Borders close. Rights vanish. You’ll be told it’s for your safety. It isn’t. #policestate

3/ Markets fail. Money stops moving. Food stops arriving. The shelves are empty. And no one comes to fill them. #economiccollapse
