Was it yourself said ‘Everyone goes through a Morrissey phase that they eventually grow out of, except Morrissey’.

I hope and pray the UK government has the balls to cancel the State visit. The creep will have a huge meltdown and would probably change policy just to get the chance to get a pic with Royalty.

The first thing on the agenda of Irish Political movements according to Brendan Behan is: ‘The Split’.

Clare Daly and himself are almost certainly on the payroll.

Many of us wouldn’t know a lot about Bowie only for that record.

No British Prime Minister ever did more for Ireland. Blair got a lot of credit (a lot of it deserved), but Major took the risks.

I know very little about that side of things, but I reckon precision manufacturing is something the Germans are pretty capable at.

Chip design, manufacture and support is so globalised at companies like TI etc it’s going to be a mess if nations or trading blocks decide to to ‘nationalise’ it. I’ve worked on projects where elements of a chip are designed in Canada, Ireland, India but ultimately the owner is a US based company.

They don’t have the wafer fabrication which is the critical element of the supply chain. But in most cases they do own the Design and IP. So they can ban the export of those components if they wish. This tariff war, if it happens will highlight how global the supply chain for semiconductors is!

Semiconductors will be tricky. Most of the components used for Electronic Warfare, Radar etc. are only manufactured by a handful of companies, and most are US owned.

Question is when Bertie invited a bunch of Indo’s to join government in 1997. Which side of the house were they on? Shane Ross and co sat on government benches I think.

Anyone who posts on X (Twitter died a long time ago) is supporting this man and his agenda. Especially if they post exclusively there.

As a twelve year old kid in two channel rural Ireland as it was back then, it really was mind blowing stuff. RIP David Lynch.

What we got (once the scene was set) was a hugely original, deeply unsettling blend of thriller, horror, romance and comedy genres among others, with Lynch’s trademark weirdness thrown into the mix.

There’s a lot of macho preening in Tech (where I work), but more often than not, it’s women that are quietly keeping the company afloat.

I kinda wondered why this wasn’t already in existence. Missed chance of a patent eh?
