I think understanding the process of 'learning better" is what's lost so much when discussing these topics, they are so ingrained in our society and experienced so unconsciously that if it wasn't for videos like that, I might take longer to find out, or worse... Not find out at all...

It's one of my favorite videos too! In my case, I'm a huge TRON fan, but what which he calls out bothered me even as a kid, even if I didn't grasp what exactly bothered me yet haha. And with sci-fi being one of my favorite genres, that trope being so present never gets less annoying lmao.

I felt kinda bad today, yet... Was oddly productive? I revamped my Resume which was seriously needed, and I also returned to a pending artsy project I hadn't continued! (Not that I hyper fixate on productivity, but to counter a terrible morning was very cool).

Fr. I have to pitch the world for an OC for an art class, and all I have is, "cool scene of character hitting a pose, rest is implied".
If I actually develop it I'll find it, but that scene is just sooooo fun to think about, I mean, that's peak right there what else do I need??!!!

I go to therapy for mine. For in the in-betweens I do art, any, mostly drawing but it helps me a lot to visualize some feelings or doubts. I'm not making groundbreaking stuff, it's fine if it's not excellent, the less clear shape the better, helps my perfectionism. I feel that's worth trying for all

That's such sad news, I loved Avatars, I especially loved when they could be integrated into games, idk which GH did that but my parents and I playing with our Avatars is burned into my mind forever. Hilarious they say low engagement when they gave zero incentives with the new ones.

Anytime you spoke of the significance of Rainbow within a political context is I think when your content shined most, I get that's not how the algorithm, and your average R6 player would feel, but objectively, you cooked the most there.

So far this app feels significantly better, a smaller user base and less chaos probably helps, but I still feel the culture feels good!

That's not to say the characters themselves weren't memorable, I'm saying that within the limits of a show like Ben, I think they did what they could, and overall, did a majority of positive work, just because it's Ben and not Batman do we not have the time to explore further*

I feel what makes memorable galleries are that even the simplest characters have memorable impact, stories and lowkey a chokehold at some point against the hero, if a simpler threat pulled a great plan that spreads Ben thin, it leads to a great story, which idk if all rogues did?

A good rogues gallery challenges different aspects of a character and I think power wise, Ben's do great, as he's unique in simultaneously being street level or cosmic. However, in my ideal world of course, the lighter threats should've gotten more development, down to even the circus freaks yk? 1/2

When I hang out over there it's like a personal diary, mixed in with silly little posts and a Pinterest board and it's exceptional at fandoms. Tumblr is def better than people give it credit for.
