I recommend The New Menopause by Mary Claire Haver. She covers a lot about perimenopause and menopause symptoms. Sleep issues being one of them.

I've been wondering about this too, but in Edmonton. The AQI has often been elevated this winter. Not sure if I notice it now since I've been paying more attention to air quality over the last few years, or if it's always been like this.
