Is that because it's a quote?

They are blocking Dave because of what he said about them, not the other way around. This just means nobody can see what Dave is talking about. That's for a reason, they have the right to, but if he removes ID then only the most determined people will be able to see who Dave is talking about.

Given half your reposts are immediately blocked and I never see them I think you should start taking screenshots. Blank out the identifying information if it's some random idiot with no power so you don't start a pile on.

The internet is the longest experiment of libertarianism/anarchism operating in the real world and the results haven't exactly been flattering.

Not that I'm arguing with you here, I just think there's a vast depth that you don't see unless you stumble on it or actively search it out that make it easy to dismiss it as a platform not worth anyone's time or is actively damaging to an individual or society, although it obviously can be

That's what I mean as well. I'd say half the videos I watch are 3+ minutes and the other half are dumb. I spend a good chunk of my time watching people deep dive into the methodology of various studies in bite-sized chunks that I find very compatible with my own attention problems

Sounds a bit dystopian to say "feed the algorithm so it feeds you" but starting with a new account and a goal completely changed it for me
comment in response to post
I think it's important to try and figure out how it's algorithm is trying to work you out. Provide it with info through your actions to give it what your brain needs, actively use the "not interested" button whenever someone is trying to make you angry, or whatever it is you do/don't want out of it

That's... not what the article is about? It's about the claim that Dittman *is* an alt account, a sock puppet created by Musk but who doesn't actually exist. And I didn't say they were conducting a coordinated campaign, just that they seem to be intentionally not disproving it because it's funny
comment in response to post
That's the claim that is being debunked in this article, and is the claim thousands of people on this site continue to make
comment in response to post
They are working together in the sense that a weirdo fan is being weird and Musk is going along with it. I'm sure Dittman would let him use or do whatever he wanted. But Musk hasn't commandeered this account and literally pretending to be him in interviews whilst simultaneously being somewhere else
comment in response to post
That's not what anyone is talking about. There is a conspiracy theory particularly prevalent on BlueSky that Dittman doesn't exist at all and is purely of Musk's creation. They are both using that conspiracy theory to troll everyone and muddy the water.

90% of this seems to be Americans unable to tell the difference between the voices of people with 'strange' accents

The conspiracist has deepened the conspiracy

'They' have... Lots. They've both been on InfoWars. It's a fan who modelled himself on Musk
comment in response to post
We have a lot of that already. Dittman AND Musk have both been on InfoWars over the past year. We have plenty of material to compare them and they categorically aren't the same person. Just a bunch of wishful conspiracists on BlueSky are hoping it's not
comment in response to post
It's not a scoop! We worked this out about a year ago the first time we encountered Dittman. It's so weird to watch a different group of people go through the same stages all over again.
comment in response to post
Hilarious
comment in response to post
We worked out about a year ago that it definitely isn't Musk when Dittman started appearing on InfoWars, but since it's gone more mainstream now we're going through it all again. It isn't him.

Including me, to be clear

This post and 90% of the people commenting on it are embarrassing

@travisview.bsky.social this one isn't true. Recording snippets of conversation is true, but there's never been any evidence of it being used for targeted advertising
comment in response to post
This just isn't true
comment in response to post
We worked out Dittman wasn't Musk about a year ago when he first appeared on InfoWars. You're a bit behind.

You called me a Nazi collaborator. I'm the annoying one?
comment in response to post
Sorry, I didn't mean hero, I meant Nazi collaborator for using this very app that's funded by Nazi money and is destroying the environment with its server farms. You're a monster.
comment in response to post
What a hero

You must not be able to buy or use many things

That's not how companies work

Trakt is my preference for this sort of thing nowadays, especially since I'm more focussed on TV than film. Just avoid the comments section as always, I also don't want to give anyone my opinion nor read anyone else's. Everything else is great, though

I don't know if you've understood that man, with respect what you've just said doesn't really make sense
comment in response to post
I always assumed that if he punched someone he would do more damage to himself than the person he punched, but of course he didn't punch someone. He maced a woman and pushed her over. A true hero for the cause.

Being silly with it is probably the only option, especially taking advantage of the back catalogue and making a fool of Jones using his own content. I can already see a segment "Alex Jones was right" where it's just a never-ending stream of all the wrong predictions he's made.
comment in response to post
They all know what is happening, though. The Infowars well has been poisoned by Jones so he can move to his new network. They have been primed to believe it's now a tool of the globalists/Satan. Using it for anything else might itself be harmful as proof of what 'they' are doing.
comment in response to post
It's been over a year for me. I hope you find a way.

As someone who has had birds my whole life... They are not pets. Even the 'easier' species are impossible to truly raise as healthy and happy, they will always have something wrong with them. If you take one on it will likely need to be the biggest commitment in your life
comment in response to post
Man I just scrolled down and found you all over this post. You're picking fights with anyone you possibly can. A literal troll. I almost respect it, but you're probably not quite funny enough to make a good go of it.
comment in response to post
You abused a stranger on the internet because they expressed a slightly different opinion to you. You came out swinging. You literally asked for a fight. I'm giving you what you asked for. What are you even doing?
