Snooker on a Sunday afternoon. Perfect!

In other news, I did die a few minutes into my longest Caves of Qud save. It was always going to happen!

I love this watch. After wrestling it to resize the band it now fits perfectly, and no buttons on the sides to irritate. The light actually illuminates the whole screen too. Casio are the best!

My current run in Caves of Qud is almost up to eight hours long. First area is manageable now. So naturally I will die the first moment I venture east! 😭😆

I'm an adventure game protagonist, my evidence is that I spent a lot of time musing aloud that "I can't do that" or "That won't work"

Made some VR chalk tech. 🐧✍️ #GodotEngine #gamedev #indiedev

I have an RC backlog! Man, these are so cool! 😎😎😎

Genestealers are winning, 99.9%. Here goes!

I thought I'd share a couple of stills from my portfolio. I'm still looking for work, so if you are after an 3D environment or VFX artist, please DM me #gamedev #gameart

Carburettor fixed. Running better than before too as the base of the carb was warped. Occasional splutter has vanished!

I had a pretty solid run going in Caves of Qud last night. Will this be the first time I resume playing where I don't die within minutes? I'm just staying up top for a while I think. Stairs are too exciting for me at this point! 😆

When one door closes, another door opens. Other than that, it's a pretty good car.

There is no way I followed some of the people I follow on here. Something is broken!

Code quality at various game dev stages prototyping: public float p production: [SerializeField] private float playerSpeed final stretch of dev: public float p

I'm pretty convinced that every programming project on the planet has at least one File Of Shame that everyone wants to be refactored but nobody actually does.

Really sorry to hear about the loss of jobs at Ubisoft Leamington. :( That really sucks. If you're affected, please, reach out, we're hiring for #Fable at Playground Games - we're just around the corner! #gamedev playground-games.com/careers/

Friendly reminder that there's a SEGA arcade racer about driving an Ambulance that also lets you play as two people pulling a stretcher at 100 MPH

Oh no

I've created a calculator that gives you the right answer 80% of the time and I believe it will change the world

The 90s were a wonderful time

Mechanical success. Carburettor removed! I do like the balance of coding in the week and pissing about with physical things at the weekend.

Urgh! Just woke up and all I want to do is get on with the thing I'm writing for work! But there is mechanicing and motorcycle riding to be done!

When I was tiny, my dad helped me make a map of a text adventure we were playing together on dot matrix printer paper he'd brought home from work.

I love making videogames because firing a nuclear missile into a space station is pretty straightforward, but having someone take off their hat while talking is massively out of scope

Oh, when is Death Stranding 2 going to release...?

Anyone else unfollowing people you can't imagine you followed in the first place?

here, have some fish from 2002

Somebody told me the plasma rifle from Halo looks like a bird looking at its reflection and it actually pisses me off how right they are.

I made a quick study-game of beat 'em ups in 2 weeks with stolen 3S sprites, just gonna drop it here : drive.google.com/file/d/1YCjI... It's glitchy and full of jank like fucked up hitboxes, and I'm not gonna fix it since it's more of a research project for now but it's properly playable

I am here, but I am not interested in here. Just the video games!

Switch 2 mouse control means: A) The new Animal Crossing inventory will be much easier to manage! B) The new Animal Crossing game will be delayed by years as they attempt to get the UI working with mouse control!

Nothing is more effective as a game walkthrough than an enormous plaintext document from gameFAQS dot com.

I hate having to swipe up and down on my phone and squint really hard to look for the tiny-ass scroll bar that only appears under that specific condition just so I can find out how far I am in the long-ass article I'm reading that is steadily losing my interest.

A retro games programming course called 'Some assembly required'

this is the entire article

Anyone here good with computers? Trying to figure out how to attach a swarm of bees to an email
