Things like this are what made me grow to love Sega so much in the late 80's through early 2000's. They had such a distinct and original style to their games ( especially in the arcade) and were so creative with fun gameplay. Can't beat that era!
Starting to realize the abundance of SEGA arcade games from that era with cool secret vehicles - this, the horse in Daytona, the bike in Crazy Taxi - really cool.
Little known fact is that paramedics really do run at the speed of sound.

Right @doctorwolverine.bsky.social? :)
90's racing games had some of the best cheat codes. This one here is awesome, Jelly Car from Collin McCray Rally was cool, animal cars from Wipeout was just funny.
On the driver select screen: highlight Manual and shift up, up, down, down, up if you're using a sequential shift, for H-shift it's gear 1, 1, 2, 2, 1 (you must shift back into Neutral between every input, so the full sequence would be N - 1 - N - 1 - N - 2 - N - 2 - N - 1)
Love it when games do stuff like this. Give me the most absurd, unrealistic characters or modes and hide them behind a random button sequence so I look cool in an arcade suddenly playing as a polar bear in your racing game. Does it look jank because a dev did it as a joke? Even better.
Not put of charecter for Ambulance workers to run 100mph to save a life β€οΈ shame that they don't see all the money that the patients get charged and it goes to the CEO instead
I could swear there was a motorcycle racing game where a cheat code could replace the bikes with giant boulders. I had thought it was Jet Moto but it evidently isn't.
(i'd start chatting with you here but we are currently in the replies of someone else so dhdjhdkd maybe dms if you want idk it's been a long week and i missed u,,)
