We published our first paper on long covid in early August 2020. COVID vaccines weren’t released till November 2020. Ergo, vaccines didn’t cause those long covid cases. www.bmj.com/content/370/... 🧪

When you take a bit of time to listen, it's clear that most people living with long term health conditions are doing the best they can in the circumstances they're in. There might be wiggle room for some tweaks but this will come through understanding & alongsidedness, not telling people what to do.

We get asked for input to hospital wards around 'staff wellbeing' & you can see the desperate need. But basics need to be in place- like regular breaks, somewhere to rest & get food/drink. Where there's a need for something more 'psychological' it needs to be made possible for people to attend.
