Concur. We all know dems are not perfect and often have issues with which we disagree- but if anyone was a “both are the same” or “i only vote 3rd party” voter and now complains that dems are not doing enough
they deserve a slap and to be exclude from participation in the conversation

That’s because no scientific background or comprehension is required to serve on a jury.
The parade of fallacies and folly marches on to the tunes of the age of ignorance.

I’ve always been disappointed with the lack of titles when I search for these terms. If the MC is competent and tough, I am sold.

Met Dr. Genkin touring for the RCSI with GTRI. His impressive efforts on hardware vulnerabilities is only exceeded by his humor, humility, and charm. Congrats!

I try pointing out that if that money was part of your salary, then even if universal healthcare cost you $10,000 in higher taxes, you still come out 10k a year better.
But I also worry that some private employers would not pass along the savings.
The American public is too easy to manipulate.

And on average, if you have employer based healthcare, the employer pays 5x what you pay.
It’s a ridiculous system that hides the true cost. Between myself and my employer, my health insurance costs nearly 20k a year.

Lifting at 6ft takes more effort- 😉
As a 6ft person, I am working on it. Spent the first half of my life developing my mind and searching for Wisdom. Now as I get old, I am working on the body. All part of my master plan to catch them by surprise- flip life stage priorities around. 😆

I use Spike Prime for students that have 0 experience. They have a variety.

For robotics, definitely look into lego robotic kits for different ages. Sphero balls can be fun for kids to play with and learn a little block code. My kiddo is 22 and I teach high school, so a bit removed from very young toys, but there are some.

Sagan is one of my heroes, but since he’s been recognized, the wisdom of Terry Pratchett is a guiding light (though slower than darkness)

Quick answer is Beast. Big, fairly hairy guy that can sometimes appear intimidating, then you find out I teach physics, chemistry, and computer science as well as help mentor robotics.

adjust pacing/story/options on the fly to keep the players more engaged by gauging their responses. Also, not being able to add music, sound effects, and documents/items you can physically hand to players really diminishes your the experience.

Because they believe if you can deny responsibility, you can avoid accountability and give the tribal voters an excuse to keep you in office.

IMO for a character to choose to be an adventurer rather than a normal career they are motivated by some combination of a desire for:
Wealth
Reputation
Social/Political Power
Idealism
Knowledge
I have them prioritize these and one must be dominant.

I have 2- long form and short form. The long one is usually for newer players because it requires thinking in more detail. The short one focuses on what I see as the 5 types of motivation for an adventurer.

Because of past experiences with this, I try to make fleshing out character motivations/personality a priority during session 0 or in 1 on 1 sessions prior to the campaign. I have a questionnaire for players re: their character I then use to guide story hooks.
