Me being in the UK and some Temu-type AI voice add starts "The latest Glock 19s have just arrived in Britain.." (Or some #) and I'm like 👀 "The f**k they have!?". I'd rather art classes. 🤣

Players taking knees and a crowd that just boo's the everliving fuck out of the piss-weasel. Just unrelenting, unmitigated wall of sound so he knows he's surrounded by thousands and thousands who absolutely hate him.

It's terrible, but unless something is generic talent show, reality TV, low cost to produce or gets absolutely insane fad/craze numbers it just doesn't get renewed now. Like Teacup. I feared the same for Silo and From.

Not a MAGA one, evidently.... Reading comprehension isn't your strength is it chuckles?

Only if there are also trenchcoats. And rooftops to stand on, in the rain...

Yeah, the Gaiman thing hit hard, AG, AB etc are all favourites of mine, but I can't continue to support him with any purchases after this. I have a love of the Norse and so this is kind of a farewell of sorts? Hopefully Mieville isn't problematic. I'll have to look into it more.

There were allegations made, refuted, etc. I simply don't know and I've looked into it since and this was years ago. So could've been nothing, could've been something major, but I have fond memories of Perdido from my 1st read.

It's terrifying but not at all surprising - and that's almost as horrifying. If there are people in 100/200 years they'll look back on all this like we look back on the 1940's.

These fuckheads love to hate people though and the only appetite greater than their need for wealth is that of power. The power to make others hate as many different people different groups as possible.

The Darkness - I Hate Myself. A proper banging anthemic/sing-a-long rock track with a very uncomfortable, but brilliant, video. :D

Well, when I say I was late to the Netflix shows, I don't mean it was a recent watch. When they first aired I wasn't bothered by them. I eventually caught up with them ... but I guess thinking about it that was a while ago now! So happy the cast is back properly to continue the story. No meth. :D

.. about 20 others all on the go, but as an exercise to think my way through something new from a few simple lines it gets the creative parts of my brain fired up. Also good to do it with song lyrics - some propor odd settings created that way! In other news I had a banging chilli for lunch. :D

..."Sometimes dead is better." - And now I have a zombie apocalypse setting where God died, but is still doing _stuff_, humanity allied, out of necessity with a very misunderstood Hell and its boss against hordes of undead and necrotic Angelic beings. Probably won't flesh it out much more as I've ..

I don't really care, then again I don't think i've noticed it much. I'm more likely to spot and be irritated by tired tropes all lumped together for the sake of it with flimsy world-building reasons "because". :D

Exactly. I think of it like this - I wouldn't critique how a firefighter puts out a fire and any firefighter shouldn't be taking critique from randoms. Other firefighters and specialist H&S types, people who study how fires spread and the science of it? 100%. Same with sports or arts etc.

Constrain a setting and/or system into just 36 words? I .... I cannot even begin to fathom that. Then again I can waffle on for aeons and love a crunchy system. This sounds like pure nightmare inducing stress to me. :D

You are not wrong. So many amazing things planned, in development, recently released or that's been out for a while. 😂 Maybe I'm just massively out of touch.
